Excited....dd and I are mom/daughter cropping tonight...

I am getting excited - hope to almost get my book finished. DD and I are attending a Mother/Daughter Crop tonight at our LSS. It's like 2 for the price of 1. She has a book she has been working on for her camp pictures (she attends Girl Scout resident camp every summer and has now for 6 years) and she is hoping to get some done too. It goes from 6-12 and she says we're staying til midnight

Is anyone doing something similar with their kids??? Or does your LSS offer anything like this?

That sounds like so much fun! I can't wait till my DD is old enough and has more of an interest she has a little book going now but gets distracted quickly!

My first experience in SB was a CM hands-on at my house and it was a mother-daughter thing. So much fun!!

My scrapping friend and I each have a DD14. Those kids LOVE scrapbooking!! And they are now incorporating SB techniques into school projects with great results!!

You will have a blast!

Well we had a great time. I didn't get as many pages done as I wanted to - we got there late and had to leave by 11 because I had an errand to do on the way home and had to be up early to do Market Day (and freaked when we were getting to leave that I had forgotten to get the keys to open the place up but that was solved). DD got 5 pages done I think and I got 4. We had fun - it was great to see her do her own and how she has improved and what ideas she had.

My dd is 13 and this is something we love to do together. In fact on Sat night when we were in the basement due to a tornado warning - dd asked me if it would be wrong to sit and scrapbook while we were waiting for the all clear - we were just sitting in the basement waiting to hear if things were getting worse, it wasn't a bad situation that we needed to be hunckered down.
