We'll be home at OKW in 2 weeks! Yahoo! My niece Amy & I have been planning for over a year. The twins are 2 1/2. Their reactions this year will be priceless. Grandpa Pat is gonna be there. Aunt Mary, Uncle Jeff, Mogan, Pat,& Bridget are returning after 8 years. Great Grandma Nancy too.

Then in June we got devastating news-Amy has cancer. She is only 31 and lost her mom, my sister 2 1/2 yrs ago to cancer. She has adrenal cancer which is very rare and it has spread. She is doing chemo now & just finished her 2nd treatment last Thursday. So our vacation is when she'll be feeling her best. I've read the boards about traveling with cancer patients so I'm covered there. But I'm still so anxious about this trip.

Amy called me early this AM to tell me our trip is 2 weeks away! She is such a trooper and I'm so proud of her. I believe this will be the BEST therapy.

I am sorry for your niece, but, if she is physically up for it, I agree with you about it being a good therapy for her!

Mom was diagnosed with thyroid cancer last year in April and I took her for 12 days last October and it did her wonders! Everything from the weather, the new environment and the magic of Disney really helped elevate her spirits!

We are going for a second trip this November and it was really all she was talking about the whole year!

Amy just left for a CAT-scan. Praying for good news this week.

CAT scan news was not good. Just a bump in the road. Amy, Mike, Taylor & Brianna will now be driving to WDW. I & BF Pat will also be driving, so we'll just do some texting and stay close.
