Thanks Elaine... I know, if only one ride was achievable during the visit, that Nan would be in awe of IASW... so that is really good to know too, thanks
Oh Adam I do hope it all works out ok. Your poor Nan. I hope she has a quick recovery after her op whenever it may be.
Will the tarp be off Walts by July? It be a really nice spot to watch the parade from.
Hope all goes well, best wishes,
Kizz

Thank you hun... I never realised Walts even had the tarp on it at the moment? If that's the case that could be useful for a parade watching spot for her... I'm not sure how accessable the restaurant will be for her at the time though... I shall have to investigate
.... theres a lift! I think!
AFAICR I think there was a beautiful ornate old style lift in Walts. Carrie Cat is probably your best bet for knowing if the tarps still in place and I think DLRP magic/news may have info on refurbs and expected completion.
Youre Nan might like Art of Imagination too. We loved looking at all the concept art at the end. I think Anamagique and Cinemagique are musts too!
Id love to have gotten to bring my Nan for the food alone. She would have really loved all the dinky, pretty little desserts and the whole atmosphere and theming of DLP.

I hear a lot about the Art of Imagination but that is probably one of the only attractions in the resort I have never actually visited... what exactly is in that big blue hat? lol
This is exactly it! My Nan sees all of the photos and hears all about it - and she is still very much a girlie girl, so she will be in her absolute element with the theming alone!

the best room in my opinion (there are 3 you progress through if you do the whole Art of Imagination experience) is the final one - and you can go into this one from a doorway opposite Sully's meet n greet spot . It has the Gallery shop with beautiful statues and artwork etc (most of it is for sale) plus interactive videos/singalongs, and you can take a class in drawing a favourite Disney character . This room is all at ground level, so if your Nan is in a wheelchair, she would have no trouble at all accessing this room.

Sounds like fun!! OMG I cannot believe I have NEVER been inside this?! Especially seeing as there's a shop involved!! I most definately will have to have a nose when I'm next there - and that's great that Nan will be able to access it should she be in a wheelchair
It definately seems like Disney Studios was built with accessability in mind
