I'm really excited about taking the train. Thinking about flying was ruining even thinking about going to Disney. My ds10 hated the plane also. So we are taking the train. Plus it's alittle cheaper , so that's good for me too.
But it is a total of 22 hours on the train. There is 1 stop.
For anyone who's taken a long trainride to Disney , How did it go. My kids are 10, 7, 5, and 2. Obviously the 2 year old who will be almost 3 is worrying me the most. I'm going to bring travel size games, play-doh, coloring books, activity books, my ds's PSP, sticker books, snacks.... And they have a dining car so we can move around alittle. I really am excited, but i have no idea how it is really going to go. I don't know what my kids ideas about the train ride are because this is a surprise trip and they won't know until Easter morning!!!!!!! Then I will start preparing them, well talking about it at least. Any suggestions for the ride or experiences you'd like to share. Thanks!!
