I have no idea where to post this but I'm hoping someone can help me. I have unused miles on Northwest and Delta and had heard you can exchange them for hotel and restaurants (i know you would not be able to use them for any disney places. But we will be in Orlando for 3 wks) Has anybody ever heard of this or know where i can get info. Thank you

I know we can do this with hilton. I am saving our delta ones for a free ticket maybe, I would suggest you go to their website or call the number on back of the frequent flier card.

How many FF miles do you have? It usually takes 25,000 miles for a free domestic plane ticket. I've never used them for anything other than flights.

My suggestion to you is this:

Go to the Delta and Northwest websites. You should be able to find all the answers to your questions somewhere in their FF mileage program information.

I know there i a website out there devoted to all the various hotel and airline miles/points. Where you have to pay a yearly fee to join and then you can move you points or miles for acct. to acct. as needed. However, the bad news is I can't think of the name of it!!
You might try doing a search on google and see if it comes up??

Try points.com. My husband and I had some miles for AA that would never reach the level to get a free ticket. We cashed them in for $100 in gift certificates for Olive Garden and Landry's Seafood (both near Crossroads Center outside WDW). Your first transaction on this site is free, then there is some fee. I thought it was a great deal because the frequent flyer miles were worthless to us.

jekjones1558-thank you. that was excatly what i was looking for, unfortunately they don't exchange delta or nw miles. thank you though. if anyone knows of any others i would appreciate it. i did go to the airlines web sites and they only offer magazine subscriptions.

You might actually want to check out the Diners Club card, they take points in, do a conversion into Diners Club Points & then you can convert those Diners Club points into miles... the bad part is when you convert you lose half your points... BUT, if you were going to lose them anyways, you've got nothing to lose....
