My DH and I have been unfortunate to have had a couple bad cases of it over the years. Basically it's bad vomiting and the runs. If it get's worse than this then a trip to emergency to have his stomach pumped is in order. I've had a severe case that I should have gone to the hospital with both of the symptoms mentioned, but didn't and survived. Also if he has the runs, Pepto Bismol or other types of stomach coaters will help slow it down. Also try to drink lot's of fluids despite the vomitting so that you don't get dehydrated. Hopes this helps you out. Have a great day!

Joe had it several years ago. He threw up consistently for a period of about six hours. The throw up times got closer together as it peaked and then tapered off. It was like clockwork.

When I was a kid, I liked to see the bears. The Dallas Zoo no longer has them. I can't remember the last time I was there but it's been awhile. We went to the Fort Worth Zoo several years ago. I really liked their gorilla exhibit.

I love to watch the chimpanzees and the gorillas! How they interact with each other and how they seem to study US from the other side of the glass as intently as we study them!!!;) Seems as they look back and study us they think WE are the ones on exhibit!!!:confused3;):rotfl:

I don't go to the zoo, I'm not an animal person. However I would go to an aquarium, and my absolute favorite is the manatees.

When you go to the zoo, what animal do you want to see the most?

No I do not live near a train station.

I live in the Boston area and just about every city has the commuter rail station in it or very close to it. I have been very spoiled as far as having public trasportation so close at hand whether it be bus or train!!

I don't go to a zoo either, would rather visit an aquarium. I live a 1/3 mile from the Canada line that will be open in Aug. It will connect Richmond with the rest of the lower mainland with light rapid transit. Have a great day everyone!

I live in the suburbs of NYC, and we also have lots of public transportation. I live about a mile away from the train station I use to go to work every day.

I'm sure there's one somewhere...Reading and all. :-) But not that I use.

I LOVED the T! That was awesome when I lived there, and could get anywhere easily. DH is on the phone right now with a company that wants him to look at a position in MA. Not sure I want to move back :sad2:

I can see you are as spoiled as I am having public trans so close to home!! :thumbsup2;):rotfl: Guess we are so lucky to have the alternative of taking the T when we need to go into the city!! I can tell you driving in Boston is awful not to mention the parking.............:scared1::sad2:;)

Guess the T isn't enough to lure you back to our fair state!!???;):confused3:rotfl: I can understand that it's hard to leave a a place that you are truly settled in! Are you originally from PA? We would be happy to have you back in MA if your DH was to get a job here!! And maybe one little bright spot is that you would be familiar with our fair state???........:confused3;)

Thanks! :goodvibes I lived in Brighton and worked at the Dana Farber many many years ago. It was such a fun town. The only thing that makes me cringe is the winters and snow! I remember having to dig through just to find out if it was really my car! I am originally from PA..but Pittsburgh. The job would actually be in the Worcester area. After talking with them today, not sure it's something he's 100% interested in. We'll see!

My sister went to law school in Boston (BC) so I've experienced some of that traffic! We almost never drive into NYC anymore, even when Dad & I went to the Mets game last week, we took the train. I already had a monthly ticket, so we only had to pay for his--which was probably the same as the parking fee!
