Hello everyone. :wave2:

Here is what we are looking at right now. Only there is a lot more. :cold: Patsy, do you have room for 2 more. ;)

You're going to hate me, but I LOVE your snowy pictures!

You are welcome to trade me a few days and you can soak up the 80+ degree temps here in late November. You can go to the beach (about a 2 minute ride away to get to a small beach or a 15 minute ride to the nicer one), walk around a touristy Greek town nearby or take a drive over to WDW.

:scratchin :cold: I lived (and drove) through too much of that stuff during my lifetime.
Snow is beautiful -- but only really when you are inside looking out and don't have to go out unless you want! :rotfl2:
I saw snow tonight too. During the Osborne Lights. That kind of snow I love. :lmao: :beach:

i like looking at the snow in pictures. Hate when we get it!!
I am a CA girl at heart still and hate when we get it.
It was 80 here in AZ today. Loving it.....not sure I like these summers here though. I guess sometime of year is always bad.....or maybe I am just hard to please ;)

Thanks Patsy. :) The beach sounds wonderful, but I don't swim in the ocean.

One year John and I need to visit Hawaii. Maybe Hawaii instead of England? :scratchin

ADisneygirl, a quick drive to WDW would be great. :yay:

My daughter's school is having a Turkey Trot today. It is where the kids collect money as a fundraiser, and today they either walk or run around the field per grade. I am going to be volunteering there today.

So, today's QOTD is-

Do you or have you volunteered at your child's school. Or, if you don't have any kids, do you volunteer in your neighborhood or with different organizations?

I volunteered at our DS's schools, at the Nursery school for Sunday school and as a Cub Scout leader...Those days are behind me now, but they were fun!

Hope they raise lots of money doing the Turkey Trot!

Bobbi:cool1:

I spend Tuesday mornings in the Fourth Grade and Wednesday mornings before school in the school store and the Kindergarten during school hours. I also help out during the Scholastic book fairs, most parties and when ever the teacher request me. Which seems likes lots. Today we got to make pumpkin bread in the Fourth grade. Smelled real good, but I'm not sure how well it'll come out. Some may be as heavy as a brick. :rotfl:

I currently volunteer as co-chairman on the band uniform committee. I'll be practically living up at school in a couple of weeks when the 190+ marching uniforms get turned in.:faint:

Oh -- have volunteered many a time. I have been a newsletter editor for at least three not for profit organizations through the years.
Currently I am one of those much griped about board members of our subdivisions homeowners association. (Everyone loves to complain, but don't want to volunteer or do anything to help. )
I have been on that board three years of the four we have lived here. No one else wants the job, so there I am with the others who can't find replacements. :rolleyes1

Yes, I volunteered at my children's elementary school for years while I was a SAHM -- being a class mom, helping out at book fairs, reading with kids in the library, helping run the holiday store, at picture day, field trips, etc........ Now I work there as a teacher!

I have volunteered at DD's school for book fairs, holiday night, fun day, chaperone for field trips and parties. So much fun:goodvibes

Just not drinking. I love Beer Cheese Soup too.) He just bought a few bottles of Samuel Adams Cherry Ale. (Or something like that.) Should be interesting. :santa:
