If you only had time for one of the parks at WDW, which one would you go to?

I would go to MGM

I don't have a favorite one, I love them all. I started to collect ornaments when our son started kindergarten in 1975. I would buy ones that remained me of things that where special for that year. So now when I take out the boxes of ornaments, it's like opening up his baby book and remembering all the wonderful times in his life.

Does anyone have some true and tried recipes for cookies, snack bars....recipes of things that will ship well?
I am needing to send some baked goodies to a friend who lives far from me and I need more ideas.

I have never been to WDW :(. It is way to far from where I live.
You will get there. I have been to Hawaii from the east coast, so now you have to do the same. :thumbsup2

No favorite ornament. I love them all :teeth: I have way too many, because I love too many :rotfl:

Epcot is my favorite park. Relaxing.

Loads of cookie recipes Patsy. How long will they be in a box? I will send you some I have used a lot.

Our schools go back Jan. 3 BUT since this is a girldfriends' birthday trip :hyper: we had to manage to be there for both birthdays :teeth: Jan. 12 and 18.

It is going to Texas, so I would say 4-5 days since it takes that long for things to be shipped from here to the east coast.

I would go with bar cookies, brownies, blondies and the like....or biscotti.
Anything that will keep for that long at your house. I have sent them all.....choc. chip, sugar, etc.
Wrap well....keep separate flavors separate. Tins or small boxs within a big box work well. I always also wrap in plastic and put in ziplock bags.
Keep everything in the box from moving around. Pack it tight!

Thank you.
I had already made some fudge, I have a recipe for biscotti that I want to try along with some cookies.
But I need more bar cookie recipes if you have any of those.

Ummm...yeah....lots.
What kind do you want? Any certain flavors to balance out the other things you are sending?

Maybe something that is not chocolate.

So, my birthday is coming up, so my question of the day is-

Do you do anything special for your birthdays?

On my actual birthday we usually go out to dinner, DH, the kids and I. Some time after that usual the weekend after we have a party at my house for me and my sister. I'm July 21st she's the 31st (10 years apart though!..she's older, just so you know :rotfl2: ) so we have a party together. My mom buys all the food and my DH cooks everything. It's nice.

Hope you have a Happy Birthday

:bday: Patsy :cake:

We don't do anything for our birthdays. Though when John turned 40 I had a small party. When I turn 40 in May we will have a party then too.
