The cabinets are oak, the island counter is dark blue marbled tiles, the other counters are almond and the floor is almond with dark blue tiles. There are many Disney itelms on the cabinet tops, but no actual theme.

Just wanted to let you exchangers know that the date for the Christmas Stocking Exchange has changed to Oct. 21st.
Hopefully this will be easier in sorting out exchanges since the present exchange will start on Nov.1st.

Also, this way, you can be on the lookout for stockings. Or if you want to start now, it will be the same as last year. You can buy a decorated or simple stocking-regular sized, no minis. Or, you can make one if you wish.

My kitchen is a pinkish/coral....think light terra cotta.
Oak cabinets.....tile counters at the moment but we are in the process of estimating for quatz ones.
Fruit decorations.

My kitchen is done in a bear theme (you know, those Big Sky Bears from Montana?). Multi shades of brown in our ceasar stone counter tops, black appliances, walls are currently white but I plan to paint them soon. Our nearly floor to ceiling windows look out on the Rockies and Pikes Peak, thus the theme.

:thumbsup2

If you were invited to someone's house for a meal, what three main dish entrees would you wish they would NOT serve to you?

anything seafood :scared:
liver
or anything really hot and spicy

Not sure, as I'll try anything once.

BTW Kayla, liver is delicious.

not the way I tried it :scared:
but maybe it was the way they cooked it

I will give anything a second chance

well except raw fish
that didn't even get a first chance

Ohhh sushi (raw fish) is good too. :teeth: I tried it for the first time the end of Aug. at a bridal shower.

I like my liver dredged in flour and fried in butter with onions. Must fry on medium low, until just done or it will get tough.

1. sushi (or any fish)
2. organ meats of any kind
3. exotic animal meat

Have to say, I like hot and spicy too.

Nancy, will admit that I didn't try the buffalo burger or the ostrich at Knoebel's that one year.

We have had buffalo (I did try that), it was too strong for my taste (sold in the grocery store now...so guess it isn't "exotic" :rotfl: ).
I haven't tried ostrich, but that I am willing. Some of our resturants have that.
I don't like deer though....too strong. No horse ;) No kangaroo....there is a burger place that advertises it

I guess I'll be butting into this conversation! :rotfl:

I haven't tried many exotic meats, but I must say that I LOVE ostrich! Haven't had it in years though... maybe I'll have to run up to a 'farm' up the street that sells it soon!

Ostrich? Now there is a food that I wouldn't have even thought of, LOL!

For me, how about never wanting to be served
sweet and sour organ meats or
brussel sprouts and lima beans or
scrapple - it is just NOT for me

I love lima beans.

Scrapple, there you have found a food I won't eat. I also won't eat cow tongue, pigs feet, chicken feet or souse.
And lets not forget the blood pudding. ewwwwwwwwww

I really like Deer AKA Venison but it all depends not only on how you cook it but how it is cleaned before freezing

It can be strong and gamey tasting
or it can be really good :)

I also like Lima beans
but Blood pudding EEWWW
