Happy Belated Birthday, Bobbi!

Anyone else need a vacation after the holidays?

It's been a long month. DS11 fell at school--straigh onto his wrist. After xrays, and an MRI we found out today he bruised the bones. The dr says it would have been easier to treat/heal if he had actually broken it.

I had my 94 yr old grandfather with us for a week after Xmas. I love him so much, but it gets harder each time.

And DH just called to say he's stuck at the airport in Charlotte.

Ouch! I have to agree with that though- I bruised the bones across the top of my foot when I was 8. It took something like 6 weeks for the pain to go away, but then it would flare up about every other month or so for the next 3 years or whenever I would be too active and put more stress than normal on my foot! PE classes were loads of fun with that problem

I've no experience with that type of injury, but it does sound painful. Best wishes to you as you try to console your son.

And I appreciate the extra birthday wishes. It's a tough year to admit to, but on the other hand, I'm having lots of fun celebrating!

Oh, I didn't know about slow loading....anyway, you sound like lots of fun things on your plate. Good for you...Enjoy your birthday trip. We will be in Florida over MLKjr weekend. I noticed that Wishes will be at 8PM, now that's my time, none of those 10 PM late nights for us.
