Have you ever been to an aquarium? If so, did you enjoy it?



I've been to a few a long time ago, and I'm thinking of going to one soon. My two boys love fish/sharks/sea life, so I thought it would be a fun activity one weekend.

Yes, I do enjoy aquariums. I have been in two. One was a long, long time ago as a child, but I do remember seeing the sunfish as well as the sea otters which were my favorite. Then during our last trip, we had gone to the aquarium and it was nice seeing all the different sea creatures.

Here is something that is a bit different. For my daughter's club, I am having the officers, and their parents do this ice breaker. So, lets hear your answers.



If you were Stuck on a Deserted Island



One day, you had decided to go on a boat ride to Disney Island. Before your trip, you were told that there was a chance that with all the high winds, you may lose your boat if it had drifted off to sea, and you will not be rescued for one year. So, you had to prepare yourself for a year long journey on this island which which did not consist of anything but sand. SO, you were told that you could only bring items from the three following categories.

*A years supply of one type of food.

*One luxury item that is not an electronic device such as a laptop or t.v.

*A type of liquid beverage since the sea water is too salty to drink.




What three types of items would YOU bring?

Awesome question as per usual one type of food would be pizza. Luxury item....this is hard! Between a big thick book and soap! Liquid beverage would defo be iron bru!

The Olympics are quite good! Team GB seem to be doing well thanks to the awesomeness of the Scots I like the men's swimming tee hee!

A. So can a I just say fruit? lol if not, im going with strawberries.
B. hmmm.... how about a hammock.
C. Fresh water is good enough for me!

Musubis-which are rice balls.
A bed

Do you have a membership to a membership store such as Costco, and Sams Club? If so, what sort of things do you like to buy?

We are members of Costco. DH goes there for gas, and to pick up things that I need. It comes in very useful when we have parties, or need items such as toilet paper, eggs, milk, oil, ground beef, crossaints.... But since the items are in bulk, and not always cheaper, you do have to watch what there is. The last time I had gone there, the big bag of chicken wings had gone up to $25.00 :shock: !

No we are not members of any of the sorts. We just stick to shopping weekly at the local grocery store lol

I am struggling majorly with my fish extender for my disney cruise! Nt a very creative person!

When was the last time you had to be creative and make something that was going to be shown in public and why?!

Do you have a secret place or a secret thing to do to chill out and switch your brain off for a while?

My favorite thing to do to get away from everything for a while is to run a big bubble bath, get a good book and soak for an hr (sometimes two!)

I decided to buy my fish extender Too lazy to do anything else. Although DD wants to do her own pocket, so I will need to find a way to attach it.
I will concentrate on making the gifts though..........actually having DH do most of them. I do need an idea for men though..........have any?

We used to do craft fairs all the time, so we did many things that went on display and hoped that people would actually pay for them!!

Costco here.............for many,many years.
I LOVE that place.
I buy a lot of produce there. Their turnover is so fast that is fresh and better quality than our grocery stores. I also like their meat.
And always fun to walk the aisles and find new things they have added. I go every week.

I like to go up into my office and close the door. It has a computer, TV and all my scrap booking things, so plenty things for just me

Good for you, that's awesome! Ideas for men...I bought Scottish socks for the men! Men are so hard to buy for never mind ones u don't know!
