Where I live texting and talking on the phone while driving is banned as of Jan 1st unless you have a bluetooth or other hands free device. Bought DH a Bluetooth for Christmas, and tease him that he talks to himself all the time now (using the Bluetooth to use his cell).

Here in the UK texting whilst driving is illegal and you can only speak on your phone if it is hands free. That has been the law for a few years here now, but you still see people chatting on their phones.

If you were to design a new postage stamp, what would the design be? Something Disney related, a picture of yourself, an animal of some sort....?

No law for us yet here in Florida that I know of! I do wish that text messaging and talking while driving would be illegal (and the office guy in the suit reading the newspaper while driving, closely followed by the girl in a hurry applying her makeup while driving!!). I know it has become quite comfortable for a lot of us to chat while driving, Lord knows I like to do it to, but it was tested alongside drunk driving on the show "Myth Busters" and PROVEN to be just as bad as driving while drinking!

P.S. Missed the QOTD about groceries and such...but just HAD to say one of the WORST cases I've seen in a store was someone who had opened a pack of diapers, and stole about 3. To me that was incredible and sad! (Especially at Toys R Us where they have FREE diapers in the Mother's Room)

Wow! You must have JUST posted this when I posted my answer to "yesterday's" QOTD.

Since I'm an artist, I would design my own stamp using my favorite theme, Disney of course!! I LOVE the ones the USPS has now, and had in the past, I always buy them and keep a few. I would love to do a stamp series on "It's a Small World After All" characters. That would be so cute!

I would design either a Twilight series of postage stamps (my latest obsession) or a series on Peanuts.

My daughter goes back to school tomorrow, so the regular school routine will once again start. Before, I used to wake up early in the morning, and I had no problem. Now, I go to sleep late, or early in the morning, and I still wake up in the middle of the mornings, and it makes me sleep in longer. Which I never thought I would really be into, but I did really enjoy it over the winter break. So today's QOTD is-

What time do you wake up in the morning, and what is your morning routine?

What time do you wake up in the morning, and what is your morning routine?

We get up at 5:45, and while John gets ready for work, I start the coffee pot and pack his lunch.

I was thinking about this and what I would want would be to big for a stamp.
I would like to see all the old (COP) and long gone (Mr. Toads Wild Ride) attractions as stamps.

Great idea for stamps! But....I'm COP was operating when we were there in early December. What attraction took the place of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride? I also miss the skyway gondolas that went across FL if I remember right.

We get up at 5:45, and while John gets ready for work, I start the coffee pot and pack his lunch.

I get up sometime between 4:30 and 6 and start the coffee. DH sleeps until 6. Then he walks our two dogs (a very miserable 5 minutes in this kind of weather!) and feeds them breakfast while I make his lunch for work and watch the news.

The alarm goes off at 4:55 AM, I usually lay in bed until 5:30 or so. Then brush teeth, go potty, take a shower, dress, get lunch together. Watch a little TV, leave house at 7, take 7:11 train, get to office about 8:15, start work at 8:30.

I get up at 6....everyday, no alarm
I feed the cat, get breakfast and lunch ready for DH, go on the computer, exercise, get dressed, eat breakfast and then whatever is on the agenda for the day.

What time do you wake up in the morning, and what is your morning routine?

I get up at 6:00 am, take my acid reflux pill, exercise, shower, eat breakfast and then begin my day working in the office here at home. That's what I do five days a week. Sunday I get up at 6:00 am, shower, eat breakfast and head to the early service at church. Then the rest of the day is open. Saturdays I try to get up about 7:00 am, exercise, shower, eat breakfast, do chores and whatever else I feel like doing.

That's pretty much my schedule, except no exercise! And no home office for me - care for my 16 mo old grand-daughter while my DD works in her home office.

I wake up at 7am, take my dog out and get ready for work. On days I don't work I will stay in bed longer and get up around 8am to start my day.
