Hi all-TD Canada trust and Royal Bank
are selling U.S. from Cdn at 1.32 at 2:00pm this
afternoon.

(Actually, so is CAA 1.327)

Does anyone know how much more than this the Credit card companies charge?

On my Diner's Club card, they charge an extra 2% on top of whatever the current exchange rate is. For my BMO MasterCard, I was told that they go by whatever exchange rate is set by the MasterCard head office... they wouldn't give me an exact percentage :( but I've found that it's about 3% higher than the exchange rate.

Absolutely bunnyfoo. The bank credit cards usually charge a premium-for instance, RBC TD and National would charge 1.34 on their credit card exchg when they would only charge you 1.32 for U.S. cash-then they also charge a percentage of the cost say 2.5% of the actual purchase as their premium.

Hey mom rules that just too funny, I also checked the rates at 2:00pm.

At the end of the day the trading rate surged up and is trading higher this evening....well this midnight......it's up at 1.3137, so tomorrow should be alittle higher then todays (July 20)...

Thanks for the update!! Remember-Cash or Debit
(I think they also have a limit but I don't know what it is).

CAA Changed their rate mid day?!?

Now they are showing 1.3392 (12:00pm)
RBC is 1.343
TD CT 1.3415
