exchange rates

I got a FairFX card because I'm a pessimist. I always believe the exchange rate will plummet just before my holiday.

:rotfl2: I can play with figures anytime of day. I have sheets of paper here at the side of my computer with things like Alaskan cruise costs comparing 4 of us in 1 cabin or getting 2 cabins. Another sheet is comparing car rental for this august, do we rent for the full 24 nights or drop off at the port and collect another after the cruise.
My world is all numbers, drives DW mad, I can go to the supermarket and look at 100 items and when we get to the till I know the cost of every item, if they are 1p out I will tell them.:rotfl:

wana come to vegas rain man:rotfl2:

$1.9945 today on interbank rate, makes sense to me, keep your money in the bank and have the safety of making purchases on the credit card, always pay it off on return and only use it for Holidays.

I am 100% with you but as I have been told so many times there are people that can't control credit cards or just don't like cards. Works well for us but there has to be alternatives.

that is definately true and i am not the best but i do manage just to keep the Nationwide for holidays and keep the lump some of cash,( usually i budget 2 grand for florida), to pay when we get back. Each to there own, there is nowt as queer as folk.

What a true saying:thumbsup2 .

I would be one of those people,i have never had a credit card as i know i would be good for keeping it just for holidays but would be real bad for knowing i could spend what i wanted on it whilst in WDW!!!.
We pay for our holidays, tickets, spending money in full with cash before we go knowing that we don't have to pay for it when we get back.Which means we can just save for our next WDW trip straight away.I know it means we don't go often, heck we have'nt been since 2004 but i know i am debt free when we go+get back.
Lat time we budgeted £1,500 spending money, next year we're thinking of £2,000 as we have another little girl now.x.

Just checked rate £1 = $2.007 :yay:
Hope it keeps around this for all of us travelling soon :thumbsup2
