Is there a website I can go to keep tabs on the exchange rate? Just wondering if it has gone up or is predicted to go up. I am wanted to be able to know when is a good time to get US money. We are travelling in May 2007. I wonder if would be best to put a lot of the expenses on Visa when we are there or to get some US money now?

Any info is appreciated!!
Thanks!

You can sign up for daily emails at xe.com too. I have the exchange rates in my inbox every morning!

Here is the RBC conversion site. Just type in how much you want to convert and you will see the current rate in the calculated amount they give you.

http://www.rbcroyalbank.com/RBC:QyKqIY71A8UAAexCyL8/cgi-bin/travel/fxconvert.pl

Just copy and paste the above address. I do not use Royal Bank. I use BMO and CIBC and the exchange rates are a little bit more than the royal bank. CIBC always has a better rate than Bank of Montreal. But I always check this website to see what I should expect to pay. Hope this helps.

There is alos a FX calculator @ TD Canada Tust web site

At Bank of Montreal you can call any branch and get the daily buy and sell rate recording for the US dollar.

@ 2:00pm today

CIBC 1.1279
RBC 1.1395
TDCT 1.1413

Anyone care to add some more?
