I was looking online the other day (Friday) we had £2,500 to exchange - and found the following:

Tesco offered $4190
Thompson offered $4130
TSB (my bank) offered $4090
Post Office offered $4210
FairFX offered $4220

So we went with FairFX - the rate was £1 = $1.6876
