Excerpts from Our Marine's Latest Letter...

He's been gone for four months now. This is just a short part of a letter that was written 3 weeks ago. We've heard "rumors" that he could be on his way home by the first week of June - so sprinkle a little PD our way, if you have some to spare...

"...the conditions here are unimagineable. I wish I could tell you about all of the things that I have seen over here, but most of it I would rather forget.

I have received a lot of packages from so many different people. I can't even keep track of every thing. I never thought I would get sick of Triscuits - but I think I am.

The weather over here has been getting hotter each day and the sand gets into everything. We sleep in two man tents every night and the mosquitos and sand fleas eat us alive. I can't wait to be home to a soft bed, a hot shower and a chair to sit in. I will never take those things for granted again."

I've heard of the rough conditions our troops are enduring and I'm thankful that Bobby's time there is almost finished. I know you must be so excited about his homecoming.
