Excellent News for coffee addicts going to WL

After all the justifiable b----ing about the bad coffee at WDW, it appears somebody might have listened!

From another board:

Roaring Fork snack bar [at WL] now has fresh-brewed
coffee dispensed from a Bunn coffee maker. It
was very good. The Nescafe machine is still
available. We hotel hopped to GF, Poly, and
Contemporary, but saw only the Nescafe
machine at each location...The Bunn coffee
maker is in the Roaring Fork snack bar at the far
right end of the refreshment station. You can't miss
it -- it's two feet high and dispenses decaff and high
test. Filled my mug every morning.

It's probably still Nescafe, but at least it's fresh-brewed
I'm guessing/hoping this may be the beginning of a trend.

Talk about great timing for a coffee addict like me

Is it as good as Starbucks? One of the many reasons we love Swan/Dolphin is for the free refills of Starbucks with your mug at Tubbi's--open 24 hours.

I'm guessing it isn't as good as Starbuck's (that is if you like REAL coffee ). But for this upcoming trip, it will be better than I was expecting.

We stayed at the Swan last summer and really loved going to Tubbi's for Starbuck's (and Krispy Kremes!)

I hate bad coffee. We've been staying at the Poly and we love the Kona coffee bar.

Ronald Duck - YES!!! You're right! We just got back from WL and the coffee in the "other" pot was great!!! Obviously not Starbucks but ANYTHING is better that NESCAFE!!! It was a pleasant suprise!!

Pam--There are so many things to love about the Swan/Dolphin. The Starbucks coffee is just one of them. They also have coffee makers in the room--you don't have to ask--along with a nice selection of hot tea. Then there's the Heavenly Beds, LOCATION, and great room discounts.
