Excel Spreadsheet...

I know there are a couple of them out there.... I just got Excel and want to learn the ropes.... so I thought what better motavtion than playing with points! LOL

Anyone have one?

I have Caskbills and Fredricks programs already (LOVE THEM) But wanted to play with an Excel one.

If it's a simple spreadsheet, it may be compatible with a palm version quicksheets, which would allow point management on a palm pilot. Planning points sounds like a nice way to divert from a boring meeting...as well as on the road to and from a resort trip, planning the next one. I'l bet there are several spread sheets out there....

I need an Excel sheet too. The management programs I have seen don't work on my Mac, but I have Office so Excel would work!

Just in the way of FYI, my DVCPlanner program was originally created as an Excel spreadsheet program. If you're familiar with the windows version of the DVCPlanner program, you might find the Excel version interesting.

It was first created in 2001 and last updated in March 2002. I no longer update the Excel version so it doesn't have BCV or SSR resorts in it. But it does have many of the features of the current Windows version.

It should still be available for download. You might try it at ...

I am working on the trip report on and off, just not enough hours in the day... The trip was great though! Thanks for asking.

You don't say what you want this 'sheet to do. If it's just to keep track of your points(borrowing/banking/spending), this is very easy to do in a single worksheet. I use Appleworks to do this, though any spreadsheet could be used to accomplish this. It does require either a points chart or using the on-line calculators to figure out the actual point costs.

Adding in the points charts and having automagic calculations based on resort/room/dates will be a little more of a learning experience.

Personally, I've never liked anything I've downloaded or attempted to come up with myself...it's just much more natural to me to look up the numbers in the book or on this site's point calculator and then play 'what if' in a spreadsheet.

Someone from these boards e-mailed me a spreadsheet awhile back for tracking points. It's an excellent spreadsheet and works fantatstic. I cannot for the life of me remember who sent it to me though.
