We have booked to go in Sept, through travel city, but instead of flying with their EAL airline they have put us with EXCEL. Has anyone flown with them to florida? I believe it's a Jumbo but that's all I know:confused:

Netty, I didn't know Excel had started (or will be starting) a flight to Orlando, but they used to trade as Sabre Airways before becoming Excel. They have a good reliability and punctuality record, but their current flights don;t show anything to the US, just European destinations. Look up www.excelairways.com for more info (they also show only A330 Airbus planes, not jumbos at the moment).

I did go on the excel website and couldn't find any info. Travel city just said they are Jumbo's and are a direct flight . We are going from Manchester. I asked about their upgrades and it will cost£170 each compared to Eal which I think was £99.
So,we're not going for the upgrade just going in economy as usual!

Travel City Direct will stick you on any flight to Florida as long as they make money on it.

I have been on a Monarch Flight and an Air2000 flight booked via TCD. No problems apart from an 8 hour delay with Monarch (but I believe this is quite normal for them!)
