Please go to www.legacyanimation.net and take a look at what former Disney animators from the Disney studios are doing. I guess they are not taking the possible closing of the Disney Florida animation group lying down! Good luck to them!
excellent - but does anyone think eisner is taking notice - little by little each great thing about disney is going to be competition - i can't wait to see the park/ride design go out to it's own consulting group
Should be interesting to see if they survive, course there was another entrepeneurial odyssy, "A Man called Tucker" and the Tucker automobiles.
For those that are history-in-denial Tucker bucked the trend of automobile building, his ideas which today are required by law made him a pariah and an outcast, his unique safety designs were decades ahead in time, he only made several dozen Tucker autos before he was kicked out of Detroit.
Good luck legacy, and greater fortune to ex-Disney artists.
I for one will miss the heart and feeling of traditional animation.
I just found that website tonight myself. Newspaper articles state that the new company involves several laid off animators. They certainly moved quickly.
