EWR The Parkin Spot quesitons

Flying jet blue out of EWR with party of 7. I need to park my minivan for the duration of the trip and came up with The Parking Spot. It seems as though there are 3 The Parking Spot locations for EWR. Any recommendations for any?

Would it be easier to have hubby drop us all off at terminal and go to parking spot alone to drop the car or is it simple enough to all go with him and take a shuttle back. I would hate to find out there is not room for 7 of us a shuttle and we get separated.

What is open air valet which seems to run 18.95 a day vs. the regular 12.95 a day?

I've done both the parking spot 2 and the parking spot Haynes. The parking spot 2 is self park only and with the coupon from their site we paid I think about $10.50 a day. Also since they are past the exit for the airport we had to go around in a big circle to get to the airport. We waited about 10 min for the shuttle when we landed back in newark. The parking spot Haynes has both self park and valet I made a ressie for self park for this past nov. and the self park was full so we did valet for the same price as self park $12.15 a day with the coupon from they site. And they are right by the exit for the airport so the shuttle ride was quicker by a few min. Both places were ok but I highly recommend making a reservation on their site it's free to do and print out the coupon for the one you choose. Also I think the shuttles hold about 10 people!

I've parked at both Parking Spot 2 and Parking Spot McClelan. We prefer Parking Spot2, because it's cheaper. Yes, it's just pass the airport exit and it takes a few extra minutes to get to the terminal, but it's worth it for the price difference. We also like parking and locking our own car up, where with valet you don't have that option obviously. We used McClelan exclusively when it was Avistar, which was before they were acquired by Parking Spot. We like PS 2 better.......
