EWP vs. Spectro Magic

How long does the EWP last? If you had to choose would you watch the EWP from the Poly, or stay at MK and watch their parade?

I don't remember how long the EWP lasts. But if it were up to me, I'd definitely choose Spectromagic.

No comparison - EWP is very cute and Spectromagic is spectacular! Stay in MK for Spectro.

The EWP is shown nightly at 9pm at the Polynesian. I would definitely not miss SpectroMagic at the Magic Kingdom, since this is a great parade. Try to catch the EWP on another night, if you can.

On our first trip several years ago we stayed at the Poly and the first night we eagerly awaited the EWP. When it started in front of the Poly, DH and I looked at each other and said "that's it??!!??" then we started laughing . It did grow on us and "cute" is a good description.

Now Spectro is another story I think our words were "WOW"

Definitely don't miss Spectro for the Water Pageant!!

Spectro is a full length parade full of lights, floats, characters, etc. with fully orchestrated music to go along with it. Awesome show!!

EWP is just a few barges with lights on them - think Christmas lights in animal patterns. Cute little tune is piped in to go along with it - takes about 5-10 minutes - not awesome, just cute and fun as an extra!! Again, they do this every night as a good night!
