Reasons Why Cats Are Better Than Men

A Cat Always Hits the Literbox

Better chance of training a cat

No matter what your cat drags into your house, you don't have to pretend to like it

You never have to spend time with your cat's mother

If you ask enough times, a cat may actually listen to you.

A Cat purrs when you serve him dinner.

You can de-claw a cat... Try to get a guy to clip his toenails.

It's okay if a cat rubs up against your best friend.

You don't have to worry about your cat turning into a pig when you host a party

A cat knows you're the key to his happiness... a man thinks he is.

If a cat jumps into your lap, a little light petting will satisfy him.

Good morning all! A few of you look as though you might need a little more sleep this morning. I know I do. It is always a bit easier to wake up in the Suite because of all the exciting things waiting for us right outside though.

Helenabear, I have to admit that I am very much taken with the maturity and responsibility of you young ones on this thread. I am afraid that I made so many mistakes when I was young that I am still paying for some of them. Thank you so much for taking your time and talent to share the pictures. Thanks to your hard work I was able to add a couple of pictures to my collection. I loved the backward waterfall one as I have not seen any pictures of that before although I have sat and watched it while visiting DW. I also made a copy of the great picture of you and Luis with Piglet. With your mutual love of Disney, you will be forever young!

It is wonderful to get to 'know' people by thier words and deeds before you see their faces, homes, cars and professions, things that often skew a person's view IMHO. When I was refunding and going to conventions and trading through the mail it was most interesting how you coulld tell what kind of a person was by their trading habits and such. I made so many wonderful friends, most of whom I still have never met.

Have so many 'fun' jobs to do today that I cannot decide where to start. LOL Sunshine and smiles to you all!

Hello!

Sorry that I went "MIA" there, for a few days, but I've been getting over a yucky cold. I'm home from work, today, and thought that I would stop in to say "hi"!

How are you all doing???

I loved your piece about why cats are better than men, SG! And 2.4 pounds sounds good to me - I think that that's a great accomplishment - don't knock it! :) Now I know about the WTC light memorial that you had mentioned - I hadn't seen it on the news until after you told me about it. I think that it looks really nice - I'll bet that I would be able to see it in the sky from some of the higher elevated areas near my house. But you never know where the "bad guys" are, SG, as you said. Still, it's a nice tribute. We also had a very springlike weekend, here - that's probably why I'm sick! Oh well - it's worth it for the few days of beautiful weather that we had (it was even followed by a summer-like thunderstorm!)!

I loved seeing your pictures, Helenabear! I'm also going to "borrow" a few, if I could......actually, I have already "borrowed" photos of both you and SG and put them in an album on my album page called "My DIS Friends"! Maybe we can coerce Jstmee and Angelina to send over some photos for us to see, too! Then I can "borrow" them and put them in my album, too! I loved the photos of you and Luis at the Crystal Palace (I love the character meal, there!) And you got some great pictures at the parks, too! Only 83 days till our honeymoon and return to WDW!!!! *SIGH* - it can't come soon enough for me! :)

Frank picked up his tuxedo for our wedding, yesterday, and it looks amazing! I just hope that my dress winds up looking as good!

Well, time to collapse back onto the couch and watch back to back episodes of "A Wedding Story", now - I know - I'm so corny!

Hope that your boys did well in their competition, Jstmee!
Thanks for stopping in, Dan - please stop in again when you have a chance!
Miss you, Angelina - please come visit, soon!

Hope that all is well with all of you! :)

Dear Rider

I can just see you lounging on the sofa with a mug of hot tea, box of Kleenex and the remote in your hand. I am glad that you are well enough to watch weddings. It is a shame to waste a sick day being so sick that you cannot do anything fun. (grin) Hope you get better soon and are back on the boards racking up the points. Your being sick must be the reason the boards have not crashed for a couple of days. It is worth it to have you back though.

I made a big crockpot of 0 point veggie soup and have homemade bread rising on the stove, ready to put in the oven. For those of you who are not on a diet you may add the meat, crackers and cheese of your choice. For myself I will just soldier on with the basics. Actually the soup is really quite good. I cut the veggies into bigger pieces so you feel like you are getting something to chew. I found the recipe for the Outback's bread (on program) and have made 6 small loaves so I will have some for the freezer. I really believe the secret to this diet is not what you eat BUT the fact that you are so busy cutting veggies and cooking that you do not have time to eat!! (grin)

I believe that Angelina might be caught in a bathroom line at her house as her DH is a very good lineoleum layer, however he is very slow, and they only have one available bathroom for the entire crew. I hope she survives the crunch. When we moved from our old one bathroom house to this one that has 2 and a half it was a luxurious feeling.

I think Helenabear and Dan are off in the corner talking to each other but when they get done we will get them to join us for dinner before we go over to Disney Quest. I will sit back and watch you kids play the games. For sure I am NOT going to do the "Make your own rollercoaster" thing!!!

Slightly Goofy

Good evening everyone! I hope everyone here is feeling better & getting all they need done at home :)

Rider, I am so sorry to hear about your nasty cold. I really hope it goes away very soon. I love watching a Wedding Story. I used to watch it all the time when I was in college. I am very glad you liked the pictures. I don't mind that anyone borrows them at all, especially for such a nice thing like your album. I take pics to share and I just hope others like them. If I actually make it back in December (which is getting more likely) I will be ready to go with my digital camera.... then I'll have a TON of pictures to share :) Don't you fret about your dress... I am certain you will look beautiful. Just be sure to show us a picture or two :)

SG, I happened to love that comparison of cats vs man... very good :D Now Linda dear, I don't spend that much time talking to Dan. We just happen to chat now and then, especially if I am up late at night... he's a night owl and always seems to be around when I am up. Although I will admit I haven't been on as late... my Roadrunner keeps kicking me off :( I do believe right now Marie is online so I don't think Dan will be joining us for dinner, but I'd be more than happy to join you both and then head over to Disney Quest... very fun place.

I am trying to get this one done quickly so that I can have it go through just in case I get kicked off... at least Roadrunner is coming out tomorrow :D

Jstmee & Angelina, I hope all is well with you both and you are having luck with ALL you are doing around the house & with the family :D

Dear Helenabear

You know I was just tweaking you a bit to get you to come out and play with us. LOL I RSVP'd on the wedding invitation today and I will be in your area on May 11th. My sister, being the intelligent person that she is, made the invitations on her computer. Her daughter is not as prepared for marriage as you guys are. She has not even graduated from high school. To be fair,it is not all her fault. I am afraid that her parents did not really want a child and let her know that in all too many ways. She never went to school one full year anywhere that I know of. One time she got in trouble at school for telling a teacher to do something that is physically impossible (if you know what I mean) and her parents responded by going to school and telling the principal to do the same thing. One time she was doing pretty well in a small church school and her parents got a wild hair and moved her back to Columbus where she had gotten into so much trouble before. They divorced shortly after that. I feel for the girl. Problem is that she is neither educated, or attractive personality wise to get away with anything she does. I fear for her and if I were younger and braver I might attempt to take her in myself, as I did her mother many years ago. I have, at one time or another, taken in each of my sisters. My brother left home and disappeared for a lot of years so I never had the chance to help him in any way.

Anway, back on the happy subject - we will have to do some talking about when and how to get together while I am in the area. Have to see my best friend from grade school while I am there also and then head down to Athens to take care of the family graves. Dad left enough money to do them but his companion has not gotten around to it and it does not look like she will. I waited over a year and I want to get it done and over with.

My sister lives in the Blacklick area and my best friend lives in the Reynoldsburg area. I am not a great city driver and get lost very easily so maybe you could come and meet me somewhere? It would be a kick to go to church on Sunday and hear you sing and Luis play something. Just a thought.

Marie is more than welcome to join us, if she would like. She can make Dan jealous with her tales of our adventures.

Linda/SG

Linda,

I am so glad to hear you will be in "my part of the country" on the 11th. I will mark my calendar and I would love to meet up with you. Both Blacklick & Reynoldsburg are both on the East side of Columbus and I live on the NW side, but it doesn't matter. Columbus isn't that big. If you want to ask your family & friend where Upper Arlington is feel free... that's my hometown and I love it. Just don't listen when they tease about UA being an "uppity" town :D I'd be more than happy to come out your way if you like since I am familiar with most of Columbus in general... I should be at least after living here for about 17 years now! Just find out a place you'd like to meet and I can easily make it out to that side of town. You know, with the exception of Luis & my sister, you would be THE VERY FIRST DISer I'd ever meet! Did I ever mention how wonderful you all are to me!!!

I also know that you were just getting on me. Luis teases me because he jokes saying I am having an affair with the DIS (imagine, an affair with about 35,000 people  ) and I guess I do spend a lot of time here... and I do admit I spend a lot of time chatting with Dan, but I can't help it... he NEVER SHUTS UP :p okay neither do I, but that's besides the point

I agree that it would be nice if Marie would stop in once in a while, but I do understand that some just aren't into talking over the internet like we seem to be

:earseek: It's already nearly 8 PM and I haven't done my ironing yet.... better go get the iron heated!

Have a great evening all

Girl, have you not heard of Permanent Press? I am so old that I remember the days before PP. You had to wash the clothes in a wringer washer and then we had bluing (whitening) in one tub and starch in another. I never buy anything that says 'dry clean' or 'iron". I firmly believe in cotton with some poly in it for carefree living. Actually I sort of like ironing. I used to do all the ironing when I lived at home. In those days you even ironed underwear but I have so many other things to do that I just have to skip some things.

When it gets closer to time we will make definite plans. I just hope that DH behaves. If he does not please do not blame me. He can be nice if he wants to be but that is not too often. You would get a kick out of my sister. She is a hoot. She was a MP in the Army when she was young and still has a warped sense of humor even though she has married a very religious guy. He is very nice also.

You can blame Dan for you being so verbose (BTW, we love it). Just tell him that he raised you up that way. LOL My mom used to say a person was vaccinated with a phonograph needle but since those are obsolete I am not sure what the analogy would be. Gosh, I am feeling old tonight.

You might explain to Luis that having an affair with 35,000 people is much preferable to having one with one person. (ornery grin)

Slightly Goofy

Actually Linda, I line dry most of my clothing. To tell you the truth, I have gotten so caught up here replying to posts & PMs I haven't even gotten to my laundry yet  It'll still be there for a while so I am not in too much of a rush, but I ought to get it done LONG before I get too tired to do it right.

You can't blame Dan on me being too verbose. I was that way before and will probably be that way for the rest of my life! One thing I did tell him that I will warn you all of... in person I can be a very very shy person. So if I seem quiet, don't worry, I'll "break loose" after a while!!!

Don't you dare feel old. I knew exactly what you were talking about :D One thing I can't agree with you on is that I am sure if I were really having an affair with so many people, Luis would not find that preferable ;) You are such a goofy lady (imagine that) :D

One silly little thing I forgot to mention. Luis may tease me about being here so much, but he spends just as much time chatting with some of his "computer geek" buddies online through AIM, playing online games with them & on a Forum he goes to. Not to mention him watching WWF  It was particularly funny because one of the the people he was chatting with was an 18 year old female... so when he teased me about the "affair" I teased him right back and said "At least I'm not doing it with an 18 year old hussy!" :D We are such goofs sometimes, but it works for us!

I hope you all are having a great day!

Well, I do come around here in little bits and pieces, I can't believe that I didn't have more catching up to do.

helenabear, since Luis is a WWF fan, I must tell you that we saw Hulk Hogan at AK at the Rainforest Cafe and got a great picture of him, i'll send one to you if I can figure out how.

My SS came in 3rd at the State competition. He was so mad at himself for not coming in first, he would have gone to Florida next. He tied with the first place winner 3 times before eventually losing out to him. This is his 3rd year coming in 3rd. Yes, we are very proud of him and all of our kiddos.

My DH and myself are now coaching the kids 4, 5 and 6th graders for basketball. We lost our first game by 2 points, but it was a good game and it's a lot of fun.

My DD and I went on a girlscout sleepover over the weekend, I'm glad that's over with. I had one girl that wanted her way the entire weekend and she would get an awful pout and even cried when she didn't get her way, she also has pretty bad "language", but we managed.

Do any of you watch Survivor or Amazing Race. We do and so far Survivor is lacking, but we definately love Amazing Race. Of course, there are identical twins on Amazing Race so my twins and I are partial to that. They are both on CBS tonight if anyone wants to get a glimpse. I may watch them on the big screen in the suite and get some popcorn (SG, of course airpopped) and water with lemon. Ahhhh!

Rider, you may need a new wedding dress with the lbs. you've lost................I GBFHug, atta girl. You must feel so good.

Our bathroom flooring is finally in. Being the Macho woman I am, of course I think I could have done a better job, but that isn't so, it looks great and now we only need to do the trimming. My DH has been home 2 entire weeks. A miracle and I am loving every minute of it. The kiddos wish he would go, heeee, too many rules when he's home. He is going to go on his Cursillo weekend this weekend so this is exciting for him and me. I will be sponsering him.

Well I'm all chatted out for now. I'll send some pics.......when I get some back. Can you believe we went to WDW in Sept. and still haven't gotten them developed.
Wendy

Good morning, my friends!

Thanks so much for your kind get well wishes! I'm doing a little better, today (ie: I can actually breathe - big improvement over yesterday!), but I'm staying home from work again, anyway, just to be sure that I'm as "back to normal" as possible before I go back. That soup sounds really good, SG - can you send some over here, please? Seriously - how do you make it? I'd love to try it! And that bread from the Outback is amazing, too!

That's so great that the two of you will be able to meet one another, SG and Helenabear! And that's right around the time of our EWP Suite anniversary! In fact, that's closer to the time of our EWP Suite anniversary than the dates on which Angelina and I will be in WDW.....so perhaps we should celebrate our anniversary at that time! You'll have to take pictures when you get together, so that the rest of us can see (and borrow them - hee hee!)! :)

I'm sure that the wedding will be very nice, SG. It's neat to hear about your family. Even though your niece may be a bit young and inexperienced, perhaps this marriage will be good for her and will make her happy. Maybe it will give her the stability and sense of responsibility that she had been missing. Regardless, I'm sure that you're looking forward to seeing your family and having a nice trip!

Frank doesn't tease me about spending time on the Boards, Helenabear, but I know that he finds it amusing. He just doesn't actually SAY anything (but I can tell what he's thinking!). Fortunately, he's not as addicted to being on line as I am........or else we would be fighting over the computer! I try my best to keep up with my e-mail and to spend time here, even though sometimes I can't get here as often as I'd like.

OK - time to return to the couch.......Regis and Kelly will be on, soon! :)

Have a nice day! :)

How did you sneak in there, without my seeing you, Jstmee??!!

Congratulations to your DS on his great job in the State competition! It doesn't matter what "place" he "came in", it sounds like he did an amazing job and he should be very proud of himself!

And that's so neat that you and your DH are coaching the basketball team! That sounds like fun! Is it a boys' team, a girls' team, or a co-ed team? I'm sure that you will have a great season!

And that's so wonderful that your DH has been home for so long! I'm sure that you will have a very nice and meaningful time at your DH's Cursillo weekend, too.

Sorry to hear that there was a "damper" placed on your Girl Scout trip by that girl. UGH. I hope that her attitude didn't wind up ruining the entire trip for everyone!

I can't believe that you still have not developed your WDW pictures!!!! You must have them developed immediately, and share them with us!!!!! SO THERE!! :)

Talk to you all, again, soon! :)

IASW Rider, we must have been posting at the same time. I hope you feel better soon, sounds like you are on the mend.

The basketball team is co-ed, my DD is on the team and up till the first game had no interest in it, now it's a different story, she got the taste of "competition", lol. Truly, she got fouled and had to make 2 shots from the foul line, she was SO nervous. She looked so cute, throwing it underhand, even hit the rim, whoo hoo for her.

Yes, please SG please send the 0 point soup our way. Would love to try it.

helenabear, forgot to mention, I viewed you pics, you two are such a nice couple. Loved the pictures.

Hi, everyone. I can't believe you've all been in the suite chatting. I stuck my head in the door a couple of times, but didn't see you. You must have been in the hot tub. :) We're still so busy here, with basketball, baseball, and softball practice going on; and Girl Scout cookie sales wrapping up this week. I have a lot of paper work to do for that tomorrow.

SG, that 3 day arts and crafts festival in Fairhope starts Friday--what time can I expect you? My kids are out of school that day, too (:(), so I have to take them with me, but we will still have a lot of fun. I hope all this bad weather moves on out so it will be nice and sunny. It's no fun going in the cold and rain. The freeze last week got the best of our azaleas, so there won't be the usual show we've come to expect this time of year. What was left after the cold was pretty badly beaten down by the rain yesterday.

Big congrats to all of you who have lost so much weight. BTW, SG, would you care to share the recipe for your soup?

I have to laugh about the girl scout story, Jstme. Our troop has 19 little "darlings" and we have a sleep over coming up next month at my house. (lots of PD, if you please.)

Well, today is my "off" day, and it's time to take the girls to MDO. Take care and have a great day.

Angelina

Just saying hello  and wishing everyone has a nice balance of the week. Hoping everyone is healthy and the sun in shining wherever you live, outide, and in your hearts. :sunny:

Take care.

Dan :)

Hi everyone!

Dan, what a pleasant thing to hear today!!! That really was a very heart warming thing to hear... then again, you've been known to warm a heart or two haven't you ;)

Angelina, so good to hear from you again! It sounds like you have one busy life going on right now. I do wish you luck next month with 19 "little darlings" :earseek: You are one brave, brave lady!!!! I'll send a little PD your way so that you can actually have good weather for the upcoming festival. Enjoy your day off!

Jstmee, glad you liked the pictures. I hope to take more when I get back to WDW hopefully this December. I'd love to see the picture of you and Hulk Hogan. If you need any help getting it here or to me, e-mail or PM me, and I'd be more than happy to help you! Congrats to your DS on his competition. As nice as it would have been to go to Florida, 3rd place is very impressive!!! Sorry to hear about that one girl in GS. That is too bad she had to whine the way she did. I hope she didn't spoil the trip for everyone! You ought to take pictures of your new floor... I am sure it looks wonderful!!

Rider, get two computers & to internet connections... that is the ONLY thing that saves me! My computer is on from the moment I get home until the moment I go to sleep and I am DISing off and on during that time. I admit it does keep me up a little late at times, only when people don't stop PMing me though :p Luis gives me the looks too, but I know better. If he didn't play so much online, he'd have an argument, but since he is on there just as much as I am, he can't say a thing :D I hope you are feeling better soon!!!

SG, I hope all is well with you today. You know I never did get to the ironing last night... that's okay, I was able to "fluff" up my shirt via dryer :D I just got involved with something last night for a while, and by the time I finishd at around 10:30 I didn't care about ironing anymore :D

Well I have kind of kept something sort of quiet. A few poeple on the DIS are trying to talk me into going to DIS-Con II in December. We did our taxes this weekend and Luis is planning on giving me the whole return so that I can go to WDW and stay at the Swan. I don't have any particulars yet on it, but I really think I am going to go! So unless something comes up I will be there sometime around December 1-8th. I'd be glad to have any of you as a roommate if you'd want to join me :)

Well I should get a few things done here before I get back to work! I hope all is well with everyone! Great to see so many of you so quickly :D

helenabear, you are going without Luis? He'll miss you I'm sure and you'll miss him, but.........have a fantastic time. Geeze, if only I could find someone to watch my kids I'd go also. hmmmmmmm...thinking hard. lol

Gotta go, sent the two olders ones to separate parts of the house because they were having a knock down drag out fight and they didn't go, so DH sent them for 2 hours. Wouldn't you know DH sent them and he left for the store and postoffice. So, I'm getting some not so nice comments from the boys, right now they say they don't like me etc. Ho Hum, the joys of being a parent.

It's so good seeing you again Angelina, so sorry about your Azaleas. We still have snow here. Had a little rain the other day, but turned back to snow. It's about 30 now, but each morning it's around 0, I can't wait for spring.

Bye again, Wendy

Wendy, I am planning on going solo. No Luis at all! He will be at home with the cats and that is fine with me. I was thinking that I would miss him, but it is only for a week. He does like Disney, but I like to "stop and smell the roses" there more than he does since it is more of a part of me. I grew up on Disney and it might really be neat to have it all to myself. He has gone in '99 and '00 and it was enough to drag him back "so soon" for our honeymoon. He did say last night that he would have liked to go only because I'd want him there. So when I thought about it, going by myself would be kind of nice. I wouldn't have to worry about pleasing him, or him being bored with the DIS-Con people or just begging like crazy to go to DQ (not that I don't like it), but I think this trip is better for me to do by myself. I have been reassured though, that even though I am going solo, I will never be alone unless I want to be and that is fine with me :)

Good luck witht he kids! Sounds like fun

Sure glad I checked into here and found you all. No notifications and I guess I forgot about it. Had wondered what you were all up to.

Here is the recipe for the Garden Vegetable Soup

2/3 c. sliced carrot
1/2 c. diced onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
3 c. fat free broth (chicken or beef)
1 1/2 c. diced green cabbage
1/2 c. green beans
1 T. tomato paste
1/2 dried basil
1/4 t. dried oregano
1/4 t salt
1/2 c. diced zucchini

In large saucepan, sprayed with nonstick cooking spray, saute the carrot, onion and garlic over low heat until softened, about 5 minutes. Add broth, cabbage, beans, tomato paste, basil, oregano, and salt, bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer, covered, about 15 minutes or until beans are tender.

Stir in zucchini and heat 3-4 minutes, Seve hot. 42 calories per serving but counts as 0 points on WW. When I get hungry I grab a bowl to curb me from heading to more dangerous things. I add a can of tomatoes to it also as I love tomatoes. You can add whatever veggies you want. I shop at Aldi's for cheap veggies to make this. I use bouillion rather than canned broth and minced garlic in a jar to keep the costs down. It is really quite good.
Hope you all enjoy it. I added meatballs for my DH and other non weight challenged guests.

Helenabear, I would love to go to DW alone. It would be great to wander at will without having to worry about anyone else. I think it is great to have different things to do as a couple. You don't have anything to talk about if you are with each other all the time. As far as the having an affair with thousands of people I was meaning that being 'close' with one person is much more dangerous IMHO. (grin) If I were married to an outgoing guy who had loads of friends of both sexes it would be fine however if I discovered that my significant other had a close friendship with one person it would be far more dangerous. It is not that people start out meaning to stray but things can happen. In my life, if I found myself getting close to a man and having certain feelings I would drop the friendship for fear that it might turn into something that I would not feel right about. Having been married to a man, years ago, who cheated from day one fidelity is something I prize highly. Line drying your clothes? Woman you are a marvel!!!

In my youth, Dick the Bruiser, signed some of my paychecks. He was from the Indpls area and owned several businesses. I graduated very early and was not old enough to hold down a legitimate job so for a couple of years I worked at odd and varied places and had some interesting professions. Nothing illegal or immoral. (just realized how the preceeding sentence sounded) LOL You all might be too young to know who he was but he was a bigger star and for much longer than Stone Cold Steve Austin or the rest of them.

Angelina, sure glad the hard part of the flooring is done. I can imagine how glad you were to have it done. Next time you might suggest making a template from newspapers, makes the job much easier. Does the new floor make the rest of the room in need of attention? That has been my experience. (grin) There is nothing going on around here this weekend so I will arrive at your home about 10 for our trip to Fairhope. I am going to have to put that town on our vacation list. It is intriging. Do you do arts and crafts along with your many other talents?

Jstmee, I am so happy that things seem to be going well around your home. If you guys are going to be coaching does that mean your DH will be around a lot more? I will hoping his weekend goes well. It is so wonderful that you are able to share such an experience. I enjoy hearing about what your kids are up to. Such an interesting bunch you all are. BTW, if your kids occasionally tell you that they don't like you, it means you are doing a good job as a parent. LOL I felt for you having to put up with the unpleasant girl but you know you might have made a difference in her life by showing her she should not act in that way. Sometimes the most unpleasant people need to be loved the most. It is sad when parents do not take the time to teach their kids to get along with others. It is am important skill that lasts you a lifetime.

Rider, I am surely glad that you are feeling better. Did you know that not breathing is the main cause of death? (grin) The groom in the aforementioned wedding also does not have his HS diploma or a job so it is a real worry for us all but they would not listen if we were to tell them and since they have broken up many times in the few months they have known each other there is a good chance that the wedding will not materialize, which I think would be a good thing. We are going to Columbus anyway. I will send the recipe for the bread later. It was quite good. My sil ate an entire loaf himself. Now, if I could have some honeybutter with it Ummmmm! Nah! I WILL behave myself, for today, at least.

Dear Dan, glad you peeked in to see what we were up to. You just never know what might be going on around here at any given time.

I am headed off for my day and am hoping the scales will be kind to me this evening. I don't feel optomistic. I was good but sometimes the scales do not recognize the fact and then on weeks when you slip the scales surprise you. That is life. I don't care what the scales say as long as it is down even an ounce.

Take care and Happy Disney Dreams to you all!!

Slightly Goofy

Good afternoon everyone! I hope you all are having a wonderful day :sunny:

SG, yes I line dry my clothing for work. I will use the dryer for the "unmentionables" and for old T-shirts and the like. My jeans, nice shirts & work clothing however are line dried. We have a big old cord in the basement right where the washer is so I just take them out and hang them up. It is easy to do and doesn't take much time at all. My clothes last longer and they don't shrink like some can in a dryer. Really nothing to marvel at :) If the wedding is off, then just remember, we might have more time to meet each other :)

I really am looking forward to going alone. Yes, the very shy part of me is worried, but then again I have several friends here who are making it much much easier to go. Their constant support reminding me that I WILL have a good time makes it so much easier. It will also give me a lot to talk to Luis about when I get back. I will miss my babies though and I hope they don't miss me too much like they missed Luis when he was out of town for a week.

Linda you are more than welcome to stay with me if you ever wanted to go without Tom!!! I realize that I will not be able to convince Luis to go with me every single trip and I am fine with that! I do now understand what you were saying about the affairs. I joke & tease, but I know in my heart I could never stray. He'd even forgive me but he is too wonderful for me to do that too (yes he's the "saint" again). I agree I think if I ever found myself too close to another man, I'd have to break off the friendship. Fortunately I haven't found myself anywhere near that yet. I have several many men who I am really close to and love deeply, but obviously that isn't the same as having those "feelings" that can cause trouble :)

Well I have definitely been WAY too talkative so I shall go so you all may get a chance to get a word in edgewise around here :D Have a good day everyone!!!
