Evidence proves BWV are not outdated.

Lol - everytime I use the IG and walk over the nice wide tramway paths around Crescent Lake I reminisce and wish for those trams! :cutie:

That video is a lie. It is not 1992. It is actually a look into the future to February 1, 2042, the day after the BWV and BCV contracts expire.

Thanks for sharing that it was great! Strange how different it is. It must have been like what George Bailey thought when he went back to Bedford Falls and there was no Building and Loan ;)

Someone told me that the BWV disappeared, from this video, along with the wand from Spaceship Earth. I guess pixiedust: is real.

That is so weird... and cool at the same time.

Thank you sooo much for posting that!!! I had begun to think I was crazy remembering that tram ride. When I rode it they had already announced the Boardwalk resort and I commented how "tacky" the whole concept was!!! Of course what is my home resort??? Boardwalk!!!! Love it!!!

Ah, now it's all making sense. There was an internal memo to WDW higher ups in 1992 that one bus route was adequate to service all the Crescent Lake resorts. Looks like that memo has stood the test of time. :lmao:

WOW! Thanks for posting. I do not like the look of that area without BWI and BWV.

Wow. Amazing what I've forgotten over these years. My kids still talk about going to Disney and getting up in the morning and saying should we go have breakfast with the characters? Days long before ADRs and huge crowds.

I'd forgotten about those trams as well.

Thanks for sharing.

This just goes to show, that some changes at WDW are indeed for the better. I can not imagine sitting above Hurrcane Hanna's, having my morning coffee, looking across Crescent Lake and viewing that emptiness.

We jogged from the Swan around the BW lake during construction when we stayed in 1993 and it was cool to run through it all as it went up.
