Evidence for DAS?

Good morning,
We travel on 28th December and this is the first time with the video interview about the DAS. I can't find a thread, so I'm posting here.

What evidence do I need in order to prove my teenagers autism means they can't queue without meltdowns and it affecting their ability to do anything else that day?

My 13yo will get really angry in the queue and we would have to leave, and so we would never ride anything, My 17yo will hold it together for 1 ride and then have to go back to the hotel for the rest of the day. He can only manage 2-3 hours max in a park without an extended break anyway, due to the sensory overwhelm.

My 13yo is already anxious about us getting it and what will happen if we don't.

We have a 16 year old son with Autism that we just did the video interview for about 8 months ago. My wife explained the situation to them and they asked that he come to the video chat so they could see him. So he did, he said Hi and that was enough for them to approve it. Sadly he never made it to Disneyland as our whole trip was just to overwhelming for him but the overall process to get DAS was pretty easy.

It's not really evidence as it is a conversation about their issues. Sometimes after you explain your concerns they'll ask you about real life situations and you answer.

As for your 13yo's anxiety for what happens if they don't get it- the best you can try is explain the backup plan. (You have a backup plan right? That usually consists of some combo of early morning, late night and purchasing LL. We know LL is expensive but it is still an option, cut other things or whatever you need to do to salvage the trip if denied but it will provide access to some LLs. Some people do DAS & LL, especially with those who can only do a few hours in the park. Remember, DAS still requires you wait almost the time of the line it just lets you do it elsewhere.)

My daughter just got the DAS pass and simply explains that my granddaughter is on the spectrum, that she has difficulty waiting in lines, and they then asked to meet her. Then my granddaughter left, and my daughter answered questions. My daughter explained that when my granddaughter was in Disneyland she had difficulty waiting in line. But with the DAS pass accommodation, she was able to ride those rides. She skipped words like anxiety and focused on the behavior and how the accommodation helped her ride the lines.
