I start a new thread, or reply to an open one, the little envelope "flap" gets a sticker attached to it...wanna know WHY please.

We call it the "dot".

Well, sort of. I can see one on this thread too since I replied to it as well.

It just helps you keep track of the threads you have contributed to so you can see them easier in the list.

thats what I meant...you and I can see it on this thread b/c we've both posted...others don't see it unless they also reply. Where can I see what all the "symbols" mean? I can only see a few of them on the main page of the collectors board.
