I am really having trouble finding this option. Screen shot below is what I see. Where is the select all supposed to be?

On the MDE website, when the page displays multiple photos, if you hover a picture there will be a grey circle with a white check mark at the top right of the photo. Click that and it will turn green and white.

umm,. so then what is the next step?
I can select the picture but I am trying to do the select all media in order to download them all at once.

I believe when you do that 'select a picture' that is when the 'select all' button/option shows up in the upper right.

Found it! The Cancel and Download buttons are quite near the top of the page and I was looking for them underneath the photo below the download arrow.

I am not sure if I understand the difference between the two items; can someone clarify?
What is the difference between the Little World photo pass and Super Zoom? I'm looking for the picture that looks like an eye in the sky and you can see that the horizon all around.

I am hoping the collective minds here can help me. I have read around 20 pages of this thread and can’t find the exact answer I am looking for. So much has changed since we last went in 2020.

I will be the only AP holder with the photo pass add-on in my group of three but I understand that if we all link up in MDE we can share photos even if we separate and I can see them all without the watermark.

Question 1: can I download all the photos at no extra cost?
Question 2: is there any reason why other members of my family should purchase the PP add-on?
Question 3: Why would an AP holder with PP add-on also purchase memory maker?

Yes, you’ll see annd can download all the photos for everyone in your F&F list who has given you permission in MDE to see their photos.

I can’t see any reason for it.

They don’t need to - the AP PP add-on does the same as MM but better, keeping photos for a year after they’re taken.

Only reason would be if that person doesn't want to wait for you to download and share the photos.

Also keep in mind, that if the person purchases Genie+ for the day, ride photos are included for them that day, along with Photo Pass Lenses, without having to have Memory Maker.

For example, my Father-in-Law was with us on our last trip. Before our trip I told him I have the PhotoPass Add-on for my Annual pass, no need for him to buy memory maker. He expressed the desire to immediately download and post the photos to FB, etc. rather than wait until I had time to go in, download, and share with him via text/email. He was so ready to buy Memory Maker.

Once I explained about 3 or 4 times that he would get the ride photos with Genie+, and he would really only be waiting on me to share the pictures taken by photopass photographers, he decided to not buy Memory Maker, and when the trip was over he was happy.

We have a party of 11 going this summer and there are 5 different MDE account holders among us. We are all linked as family and friends and we can all see each other's profiles. We all have APs but I'm the only AP holder with the photopass add-on. In order to make sure anyone in our party of 11 can redeem a photo with their magicband, do I just have to make sure everyone in my friends and family list allows me to view their photopass downloads? Is it as simple as that or am I missing something? Thanks!

Yes, it’s as simple as that - all 11 people (or at minimum, all people who might ride by themselves and be alone in a photo) need to be in your F&F list and need to have given you permission to view their photos.

To clarify a point, they will see their photos with watermarks. You’ll be the only one who can see and download them without watermarks.

I also downloaded « All visible media » on my Mac. These are saved as a bunch of zip files and appear to have kept all information. How do I export them to « Photos » so that they are placed at the right « content created » date?

I would much have preferred that the download on my phone worked properly.

Any ideas or suggestions on how to do that efficiently?

I figured it out: By dragging the downloaded pictures to the Photo library on the Mac, the dates corrected themselves.

I have memory maker and very old Magic Bands. We used to get ride photos, like from the Mine Ride, etc. But the last few trips didn't give us any ride photos at all, except the ones like Buzz, where you can scan the picture. How do people get ride photos if they don't have MagicBands or Magic+ bands?

If you allow the MDE mobile app to use bluetooth on your smartphone, photos should link that way. It doesn't always work. Many ride queues have a QR code you can scan which will bring up the details and allow you to check your settings.

If you keep track of the approximate times you go on rides, the PhotoPass centers can pull up ride photos and you can manually link them to your account using the old MB.
