Everything Old Is New Again! - A Dec 2010 Trip Report : THE FINAL ENTRY page 45

That's why I was shocked shocked! to see this:

IMG00046-20101207-1514.jpg

I was heartbroken! Everything I thought I knew about Disney and their attention to detail was shattered! Is life even worth living anymore? Should I turn in my Mouse Ears and buy a season pass to Universal Studios?
Anyway, Plus 2 Internetz points to the first person to pick out the two defects in the picture above. One is pretty easy to spot, but the other takes some work. Ironically, it was the harder one that I first saw. I didn't even see the glaringly obvious one until I started looking at the picture later.

Bazinga!

Those are fun shots with the Incredibles, especially the push up one. Meet-n-Greet with Lotso just seems wrong to me. Sure there are those with othrer villains, but he's just too creepy.

Great update! Love the sequence shots of the treat. Reminds me of the Michael Jackson version of this - :mickeybar

LOVE THIS PICTURE!!!!

He decided to demonstrate by doing a few push-ups. Kayden figured that any super hero can do push-ups, but Mr. Incredible should be able to do extra hard push-ups with no problem. So he added a little extra weight...
IMG_3782.JPG

This is terrific! You go Kayden.

Since we were using the dining plan, we all got dessert. I thought the Mickey Crisped Rice (don't all it Rice Krispie!) treat on a stick looked good. (We are from Wisconsin, after all. Our State Fair boasts of more than 60 foods on a stick, including deep fried apple pie, chocolate covered bacon, deep fried PB&J, deep fried Mac and cheese, deep fried cheese cake, and fruit kebabs. Hey! Who let that healthy one in there? Send him back to Illinois!)

Hey, hey, hey. And to think I used to like you Barry and stick up for you (well, at least most of the time) and said you were better at updates than some other men I won't mention on here. Then you go and pick on my home State. I'm deeply hurt. :sad2:

Ahh! My eyes! My beautiful eyes!

As Christopher mentioned, the tan row at the top is out of place, and the box has an extra black tile. But the box to the left of that one is missing a black tile on the lower left corner of the border.

I was heartbroken! Everything I thought I knew about Disney and their attention to detail was shattered! Is life even worth living anymore? Should I turn in my Mouse Ears and buy a season pass to Universal Studios?

Whoa, let's not get crazy here. Don't do something you're gonna regret.

Kayden got a big hug from Mrs. Incredible...

...and really seemed to enjoy it!

Well, who wouldn't? Is my wife still reading this? Hi honey! :wave2:

The big guy was pretty surprised by this, but powered through one push-up.

One? ONE?! We're gonna have to call him Mr. Mediocre.

It was about this time that Madison wanted to see Voyage of the Little Mermaid show again. Not again like again today, but just again as in more than one time ever. It's a pretty cool show the first time you see it. It's really neat times 2 through 4. Times 5 through 7 it's an OK show. Anything after that...

Bambi, Evan and I chilled out on a bench while the rest of the party took in the show.

::yes::

Bench > Little Mermaid for the 27th time. Got it. :thumbsup2

That's still impressive. :worship:

Clearly my wit-and-charm-inator was on the fritz because they all turned me away.

We tried to warn you about the puns.

Deep-fried apple pie! Deep-fried cheesecake! I need to experience this!

Up Next: What do you mean there's no Ozzy!? It says it's the Osbourne Family Lights!

My new slogan.... "Real men procrastinate" :lmao::lmao:

At least he's picking on it because it's healthy? :confused3 :lmao:

Yes, my perception of Disney was ruined by two out of place tiles on floor of the men's bathroom outside the Art of Animation.
I counted 6 out of place tiles... :confused3
edit: make that 7 with the missing border piece that Don and Mark mentioned.

I'm sorry that some shoddy tile work ruined your perception of Disney. I'm sure it was intentional. Either that or the crew that put the tile in must have had someone who was color blind.

And just like in the movie, he's a hugger!
Yeah, but I like him better on the grille of a truck.:rolleyes1 The kids had seen the movie before they met him hadn't they? Apparently he didn't leave too bad of an impression on them.

It's really neat times 2 through 4. Times 5 through 7 it's an OK show. Anything after that...
... you just want to stick your head "under the sea"???:rolleyes1

Clearly my wit-and-charm-inator was on the fritz because they all turned me away.
Maybe you should have tried to use your sense of humor and puns???

Our State Fair boasts of more than 60 foods on a stick, including deep fried apple pie, chocolate covered bacon, deep fried PB&J, deep fried Mac and cheese, deep fried cheese cake, and fruit kebabs. Hey! Who let that healthy one in there? Send him back to Illinois!)
No deep fried Twinkies or deep fried ice cream????:scared1:

Up Next: What do you mean there's no Ozzy!? It says it's the Osbourne Family Lights!
So does that mean that Crazy Train isn't part of the soundtrack?:sad2:

nice update barry! i never noticed the tile floors in the mens to often. good eye.:thumbsup2

There is the entire row of mismatched tiles in the square at the top, tan instead of green,
Code:
and then of course the single black one out of place in the center area...
Wow, I didn't even see the entire row that was out of place. Your ninja skills are most impressive.
And I'm going to see if Mark could use a lieutenant_oblivious.

Those are the two that I saw. Bonus point for the pretty red arrows.

Those are fun shots with the Incredibles, especially the push up one. Meet-n-Greet with Lotso just seems wrong to me. Sure there are those with othrer villains, but he's just too creepy.
We did see it, but it never stopped the kids from wanting to see him. We justified it by saying Lotso Huggin Bear is a toy, and there are lots of him made. Just because the one in the movie was bad, doesn't mean all of them are.

Great update! Love the sequence shots of the treat. Reminds me of the Michael Jackson version of this - :mickeybar
Those may have been the most delicious 3 pictures I have ever taken!

Hey, hey, hey. And to think I used to like you Barry and stick up for you (well, at least most of the time) and said you were better at updates than some other men I won't mention on here. Then you go and pick on my home State. I'm deeply hurt. :sad2:
Sorry, it was a purely linguistic choice. "Send him back to Minnesota!" or "Send him back to Iowa!" just don't have the same poetic ring as "Send him back to Illinois!" Especially when you pronounce the "s" at the end.

At least he's picking on it because it's healthy? :confused3 :lmao:
Thanks, Don! :thumbsup2

As Christopher mentioned, the tan row at the top is out of place, and the box has an extra black tile. But the box to the left of that one is missing a black tile on the lower left corner of the border.
The one I noticed first was the purple on that should have been black. I didn't see the black/yellow mistake until I got home, or the entire row of yellow until Stopher pointed it out. :sad2:

Whoa, let's not get crazy here. Don't do something you're gonna regret.
Yeah, there's no way that would have happened. I was delirious for a moment, but it passed.

Well, who wouldn't? Is my wife still reading this? Hi honey! :wave2:
I certainly wouldn't. (Because I know my wife is reading this.:rotfl2: )

Bench > Little Mermaid for the 27th time. Got it. :thumbsup2
When you break it down to simple math you just can't argue it.

That's still impressive. :worship:
Thanks!

Deep-fried apple pie! Deep-fried cheesecake! I need to experience this!
August 4-14 this year. If you come out and stick around for all 11 days, your first cardiac catheterization is on me!

I counted 6 out of place tiles... :confused3
edit: make that 7 with the missing border piece that Don and Mark mentioned.
Well, evidently that still better than what I saw...

Yeah, but I like him better on the grille of a truck.:rolleyes1 The kids had seen the movie before they met him hadn't they? Apparently he didn't leave too bad of an impression on them.
Someone in the Dad's Club tied him onto the grill of his van for a drive down, but to WDW, but I can't remember who. The picture was hilarious!

Maybe you should have tried to use your sense of humor and puns???
Yeah, i'm sure we all know how that would have turned out. :sad2:

No deep fried Twinkies or deep fried ice cream????:scared1:

Dave, I'm not sure that's a bad thing if you don't. :rotfl2:

Nice job noticing the out-of-place tiles Barry! Next time I need any tile-work done, you're my guy.

This? This you notice? But the dirty sock and toys on the floor you step right over.

Where is the smiley of the woman walking away in a huff?

UH OOOOOhhhhhhhhh.... Somebody's in trooooooouble.. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Nice update, Barry! I guess this is where the action has been today! :lmao:

I kept thinking of comments, but per usual, Mark or Don or Andy or Christopher or Bambi beat me to the punch! My daughter, Molly, will be very excited to read this next installment!

Wooooh, slow down there Glenn. I don't lay tile. I just come around later and point out flaws. :thumbsup2

To be fair it's usually not my sock and hardly ever my toy.

It's hard to keep up with these people.

Hi Molly!:wave2:

Well, everybody ran you off anyway. How much worse could it have been?:confused3
Good point. I'll try that next time.

Now I am a tile picture taker and I do not think I have noticed the intentional "mistakes". Maybe they only make them in the Men's room? :confused3

Now I will need to look closer and of course take more bathoom pictures. :lmao:
