Just one quick question. What happened to Fall??? It's 30 degrees right now and it's mid October!

We will be in WDW in May ~ I seriously can not wait!!

I do honestly think that once my girls are done with school, I'll be done with MI. I love it here for many reasons but those reasons are definitely dwindling.
We'll see ~ my oldest goes off to college in 2011 but the youngest doesn't go until 2017 so I've got time to think about it.

I'm feeling cheated out of my favorite season. It's been so cold, and rainy much of the time too. I usually love getting out and taking long walks at this time of the year, but haven't done much of that this season.

We got back a couple of weeks ago and are now waiting to see what "deals" will be coming for next September--yep, we really want to go back for F&WF--it was such a hoot for just the two of us to go--kind of like doing it for the first time. It gave us a whole new Disney perspective.

I was just up at Southland recently to pick some up and they told me they are no longer carrying them. I guess that goes for all of the Disney Stores.

It will be nice to be somewhere warm, after being so cold already. I took one of my nieces to her soccer game today, and it was freezing! I had on a long sleeved shirt, a sweater, and my winter coat and I was still cold.

But I love Michigan.In fact, I would love to be able to move to a small house in the UP and take in the quiet. Ahhhhhhh.

I priced out a week-long trip (POR) for us in January (just DH and myself) and it wasn't too bad so we're thinking about it. But we're thinking about another trip to the Smoky Mountains too, and with DH in harvest season right now (he farms, soybeans and corn) he doesn't have time to help me decide what we want to do. We might end up doing a last minute thing, we'll see.

We're heading to the Poly for the holidays, Dec 12 to 20, and I can't wait... It might be the next time I'm actually WARM for a few days!!

I think it ran off to where ever summer disappeared to this year... Talk about adding insult to injury - hardly any good swimming weather, kids wearing jackets at my DD's birthday party in August, and now winter starting in Oct.

3Leafs - I'm assuming you live in the downriver area??? We raised our family in Woodhaven and Allen Park, all 3 kids (now in their late 30s) graduated from APHS. We're downriver frequently. One DD lives in Wyandotte; best friend lives in Taylor. We both grew up in Dearborn.

hrh_disney_queen - I remember those wonderful pretzels at Southland. What great memories!

I grew up in Trenton, we had dear family friends that live on West Road in Woodhaven, I went to school in Dearborn (HFCC and UMD) and worked at the now flattened KMart on Telegraph and Goddard in Taylor. I have a wonderful DIS friend who lives in Wyandotte!

I want a Hot Sam's with mustard...now..

I can't believe all of the downriver people! I grew up in Redford but have lived in Brownstown for the past 11 years and the kids go to Woodhaven schools! I always see alot of Mickey antenna toppers around here, they must be fellow disers!
