Most importantly, we hired a new pet sitter for our girls while we are gone. We booked her waaaay back in September. The girls loved her when they met. She said she would call me right after Thanksgiving to set up all the final arrangements. I was hopeful that she really would call, thinking it would be a good sign of responsibility if she did. She called this morning at 9 a.m. and she will come for instructions and walk through 6 days before we leave.
