To quote the evil Emperor from Star Wars
Since I just finished up grad school this year the funds were looking pretty tight for getting a Disney vacation this year. Not only was funding short, but I had actually sold my F-250 when I started grad school to help offset the cost of college, so no truck to pull the TT. Free dining opened up a window for us from 11/15 through 11/21, but we were gonna have to stay at Coronado Springs, so we took it to at least get the trip even though I really wanted the Fort.
Well...some things have now happened. We are bringing my niece along for the trip, so with her we had 5 people total going. They told us it was okay, the preferred rooms at Coronado would hold us all, so we booked it. So three days ago I was booking some dinner reservations and they discovered that an error had occurred and they had originally listed my youngest as 2 y/o instead of her actual 3 y/o. This meant we were gonna have to get two rooms or change to the cabins, which exploded the cost through the roof. Now it is looking as though the trip is off...
Buuuttt...
My neighbor, the one I sold the F-250 to has informed me he no longer needs the truck, and he didn't even use it...like 2500 miles is all he put on it, so I bought it back.
I called Disney this morning and told them I no longer wanted the resort...or their free dining...and give me my home away from home at the Fort from 11/15 through 11/21. Then I got really jumpy and added two more days onto the trip to last through 11/23. So now I got 8 days at the Fort, with only 6 days of park tickets to leave me two days to just sit around and relax.
Guess I better get started on my Mickey Lamp...
