Everything I need to know about WDW in December

Just booked our trip to WDW for December 16 through 22!!! Sooooo excited!!! Okay, now I would LOVE to hear from those of you who have been during this time of the year.... What do we need to do that are "CAN'T MISS" events???

The trip planner suggested the Candlelight processional... I bought tickets to the Christmas party for the 19th...

Any other suggestions????

We are going Dec. 18-23 ..

This is the first time at Christmas .. So I want to know also what everyone suggest ...

It was wonderful. I actually did the dinner package so that I had reserved seats for it. I'm going again this December and it's definitely on my to do list.

If you have time, be sure to visit some of the resorts. Each resort has a different theme for Christmas decorations. All of them beautiful.

weather wise it is my favourite time of year becuse you can wear fall/spring clothes because its 60's-70's everyday and even sometimes muhc colder at night...its a very cozy time of year

Not sure either had a great time in Oct last year so I don't see why this should be any different.

Got our tickets in the mail for the MVMCP BUT I was kinda disappointed, I thought they would be Christmassy, instead they are a plastic card 1 has Cinderellabration on it, one has Soarin' and one has Expedition Everest. By looking at them you would never know they were for the Christmas Party???? Behind them (where they are glued) on the paper it does say Adult 10+ or Child (3-9) Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party........But at least we have them.

We used to live in Onio and have been going to WDW every Dec for the last 5 yrs. It is my favorite time of the year to visit. The weather is excellent and the crowds low (we always visited early Dec). You definitely want to do the CP and MVMCP. Make sure to visit MGM for the Oswald christmas light display. ln EPCOT every country has the story of how Christmas is celebrated in that country. On Main street they make it snow and there is a special Christmas fireworks. You're going to have a magical time.
