Everything crossed and Pixie Dust

Plenty of :wizard: and :grouphug: for you, Alison. I hope your daughter is soon safely home xx

Wow, what fabulous experiences your DD must have had - good for her. :thumbsup2 Hope she gets home safely soon. :wizard:

Sara. :)

Hope she is home safely soon :)

I would like my DDs to be independent free spirits but at the same time just the thought of it scares the pants off me :scared: Hope your DD has a safe journey home and you get to spend some time with her before her next adventure :goodvibes

Thanks everyone :sunny:

Received an email from her last night (missed her online by about 20 mins! :sad2: ) to say she's in Caracas so just the flight to arrange now and a call to Dad to say where and when to collect her :thumbsup2

Truth told, for all her adventures, she's terrified of coming home as it'll all seem so busy and commercial

Over the last two and a half years she's *holed* herself up in National Parks, small villages and the RainForest, only calling into the cities for her flights either way, so Heathrow will seem pretty frantic for her :hippie:

Still, she'll survive, as we all do, and it'll be great to see her again - Eve is looking forward to being able to spray the windows with her at Christmas like they used to do ;)

Well, my countdown has *ticked* it's way to the end and we're off to Berwick this morning :sunny:

DD is still in Caracas - trying to arrange a flight home!

Hopefully she will get herself organised as I haven't a clue where or when I'll be able to find Internet access (it being Bank Hol the library will be closed..... :confused3 )

For all her travels she'll readily admit that she'll *faff* about, with little or no direction, if not prompted so I'm going to work on the dog crossing his legs for extra luck ;)

I'm certain I was never this much of a worry for my parents  ............ :rotfl:

hope you enjoy yourself and try not to worry too much

Thank you to everyone for your kind wishes and pixie dust :wizard:

Laura is now home and, steadily, drinking her way through our beer, whilst being tormented by DD (7) ;)

She managed to get home without being fined, or being locked up, for being 'illegal' but I've threatened her to never make us worry so much again....................... :rotfl:

Glad she is back home!

So pleased to hear this, Alison, great news.

Just wanted to send you :grouphug: you must be very relieved, maybe you could get her to write us a trip report of her adventure, i bet it would be compelling reading :teeth:

LOL :) I think it would have to be a very edited version as some of her adventures make you shudder ;)

There seem to have been many trips to the 'beer shop' though, in amongst the dramas :rolleyes1

Here's a pic of my three biggest 'kids' on our first night out together for years.
The little, sensible one, was at her Nan's
