EVERYONE remembers their "FIRST TIME"TR by Timandlesley 11/27 Day5 pg.18

The Halloween party sounds sooo awesome...

Food and Wine Festival and MNSSHP and lack of crowds - three good reasons to head down at this time.

We were hoping to go next year but we've decided that we want to stay at AKL next time and my mom and mil want to come also so we may very well put off the trip til 2011. It's okay - we will have more time to save money and do Disney the way we want .

Another amazing update!! My boys were mario and luigi for halloween this year also, I love the costumes! Can't wait to read more about your trip!

Melissa

What a fabulous day!! Was this one of your best trips ever? You all looked wonderful in your costumes. It seemed as though you got to do everything you wanted to do, or, in Tim and Lesley style, you enjoyed everything you did and called it the best!

FABULOUS update Lesley! LOVE the empty park, no heat feeling! Sorry Tusker House wasn't a better meal especially since you gave up Le Cellier for it! You guys looked fantastic for the party! I LOVED your face painting and the picture with Snow White and the 7 is FRAME WORTHY!! How cool! Looks like you had great seats for the show, fireworks and parade! I LOVE all your pictures! What a tremendous day!:thumbsup2

The party sounds awesome - we have still yet to do it, although we go every year in September (I know, I know, what are we waiting for?). I bet the haunted mansion dancers are fabulous, I LOVE there costumes. Ooh, and loved your costumes, too -especially Luke's Luigi mustache:goodvibes

Oh my goodness! What a fantastic day! :dance3: I can't believe AK was so empty. Your TR has reminded me that there's even a huge difference between Sept and Oct as far as crowds go. Isn't MNSSHP incredible?!?! I'm so glad your family got to experience it! :goodvibes Yours and Lauren's face painted faces are so pretty! They did an incredible job. And I LOVE the picture of your family with Snow White and all 7 Dwarfs! :thumbsup2 That is priceless. I agree--the fireworks and parade are so, so good. What an incredible day! :goodvibes

Wow what an awesome day you all had!! I don't think I have ever seen AK so empty!! Love all your costumes. Looks like you had a wonderful view of fireworks & parade. Great update!!:thumbsup2

After seeing your pictures, I'm sorry that we missed MNSSHP. Maybe next time we will attend the party. It looked awesome. Glad you guys had such a fun time.

Hey Tim & Lesley,
I've just caught up on your report(s). Very entertaining! We're going on a short trip to BLT in December :cool1: so this report is helping hold us over until then.

I think my wife and I live fairly close to you guys. We live in Fairfield Township...if you're ever up this way you may notice our Disney mobile driving around with a DIS FANS plate, DVC Hitch cover, antenna Minnie, etc...that would be us. :woohoo:

If you guys ever need someone to geek out on Disney with...let us know! :thumbsup2

Wow! Now I really want to take my kids during October and go to the Halloween party! October is such a great time to go...less crowds, food and wine, great temperatures and the Halloween party.

Great update! I love reading about your family's adventures!

What a fab evening! I want to go there for the parties some year! I also got the Rebel XS a few months ago; I am learning how to use it. I took some great pics, but I've also had to dump a lot. Invest in a tripod and remote trigger. They are not as expensive on ebay.

Here is the video of the headless horseman and the CM going nuts on the guy who crossed the street:

Love, love, love, the Snow White and Seven Dwarfs picture! How cool!
The CM was pretty upset, but I also have to wonder about some park guest that tries to cross when a horse is galloping down the street. That is the kind of thing that will make it impossible to have the Headless Horseman in the parade. That will be a sad day.

BUT and this is the big BUT we had already been to Epcot a few times and we wanted to experience something different due to the limited days we had in the parks during this trip so we (gasp) decided to forgo LeCellier and Epcot and head to Animal Kingdom
:scared1:...

:faint:

You gave up LE CELLIER!?!?! Shocked... just shocked...
;)

We decided to head to Expedition Everest, the park was soooooooooo crowded………………………………………………………………..NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Check this out:

Ok, that's the second time you made me pass out in this update. Would you stop that already?!

Then as we were walking I was LITERALLY saying to Tim “I hope we get to see Divine today” and then we hear Luke saying “WHAT IS THAT!?!” and I look up and there she is!!!
Yay for Disney Karma!! :banana::banana:

This meal was nothing to write home about but was fine. The food was pretty good and they had a decent variety.
I so totally agree with you on this. The character breakfast is so much better than the lunch!!

Lauren and I decided to ride Primevil Whirl, a first for BOTH of us since she was finally tall enough this year. I was excited to ride this for the first time:
Did you girls get a car to yourself? Or were you sharing with some strangers? I think this ride is so bizarre! The sensation of spinning while moving forward is just crazy!

WOW! Nice catch! I think he was looking for your family because he was concerned that he hadn't seen you on Splash Mountain yet!

You all look wonderful! Your shoes are the best! Where did you find those things?!

Wow, Lesley that was an awesome day at WDW!! I loved the photo of you with all the dwarves and Snow White, that is priceless :wizard: Great time at MNSSHP ! And thanks for making me a FB friend ;)

Loved the Halloween costumes ! Great ideas :thumbsup2 The family pic in front of the castle in your Halloween costumes is really good. The family pic with Snow White and the 7 dwarfs is priceless. I did not know they were altogether at MNSSHP ... I will have to remember that.

MNSSHP is awesome. The headless horseman is really cool ... only Disney would start a parade like that. What a great day from start to finish!

OMG, that is so stupid! Not your video, the fact that somebody tried to cross the street. I wonder if that is the CM who worked at the Halloween party we went to a couple years ago. He was really adamant about people staying out of the street.

I've only read a little bit of your TR so far but it sounds like you had a great time again.

Oh wow...Love all the updates and all the firsts you continue to enjoy! I continue to love how you don't worry about "plans" and go with the flow and even gave up LeCellier! How fun! :worship:

MNSSHP rocks! We also had such a great time and I'm so glad you guys could get your picture with Snow White and the 7! What an absolutely fantastic picture that is! You guys were adorable! My DS was Mario for Halloween this year! :lovestruc

Can't wait to hear more...so, do you think you'll head back next year during the fall? I know it's hard with your schedule but just curious!

Heather
