We were suppose to leave yesterday morning for my parents' house for a wedding shower and our departure for the Fort on Sunday. We didn't and we're not. I'll not air my dirty laundry as to why I've had to cancel this trip but within the last 24 hours I've been mad, sad, angry, depressed, but most of all disappointed. Last October I had a situation happen to me that "got my attention." I decided then that I was going to try to be more positive and accept that sometimes things don't work out for a reason. I'm really being tested right now! I'm letting these roller coaster of emotions go with the understanding that WDW and FW will be there when the opportunity arises for me to get back. With cancelling this trip, it will allow us to pay off the boat that DH purchased in December a lot sooner than expected. Looks like I might have my own camper this year after all. I have had my heart set on a hybrid, but I am going to do some MAJOR research on popups. I want something I can pull with my mini-van so that I can go where I want, when I want.
That is so sad.
I would probably cry a lot if that happened to us. Everything happens for a reason though. So now you just need to find your reason. (That has gotten me threw so much crap.) Maybe when you schedule to go back everyone will want to go with you.
Then you will have even more fun with your whole family.
Good luck with finding the perfect camper for your family. I loved our popup when I was a kid, something about sleeping with out anything below your bed.

Now that I've settled down, I really do think this is going to be a blessing in disguise. DH is definitely on board with the camper thing now whereas he has been kind of on the fence. Being as I don't work outside the home, I really need his backing on a camper purchase.
I feel the heart ache. I just wanted to tell you my DH is not a camper but I was raised camping on the weekend and love it. We purchased a pop up and I loved it dearly. Easy to tow all of us could sleep in it, we sold it eventually since you know eventually you will need to up grade. Know we have a ft with slide 5ver. I have made 3 solo trips with it to the Fort. I still don't have my comfort zone like I did with the pop up but its coming! Good Luck with your search! Everything works out for a reason!
