Just sworn in this morning. The ceremony took 4 hours! But it's been 20 years since I first visited US (and Disneyland for the first time, which I'm sure contributed to my reasoning of coming here). And 10 years since I came here as a student. 7 years of long, painful, slow application process. And today, it's a milestone.

And on the eve of 911 anniversary, I'm proud to be part of this country, and being a New Yorker. We may not agree with one another all the time, but it's the freedom that makes all of our disagreement worthwhile.

Just wanna share. :)

Congratulations! And just in time for a big election too. Be sure to get out and vote!

That is so cool! Welcome fellow American!!!:Pinkbounc (even if you have been around for awhile);)

Congratulations!

I read you tagline - and I have ridden the Cyclone -

when I was in college my parents took us to NYC for a trip and dad (who grew up on Long Island) took us to ride the Cyclone - he had talked about it for years - when we saw the Cyclone my sister and both thought "poor dad - this coaster was great when he was young but now that he is older he is going to be so disappointed - he had built it up as a legend in his mind!" Well - weren't we surprised! I live near Kings Island and Cedar Point and have ridden great new fancy roller costers and the Cyclone rivaled them all!!!

Congratulations :D
