Everybody's Got a Laughing Place..Where's yours?

Everybody's got a laughing place! Here's my definition of one.

Lau-ghing Place (lafing plays) noun. 1.An area where one goes secretly to get away from worries 2. An area where one goes to hide from the world.

My Laughing Place was an area in the small forest that was behind our house. I used to sit on a stump of a tree and read or think about stuff.

So where's your Laughing Place?

I used to have one very similar to yours. We have a small wooded area by our house. In the very back, near the rail road tracks, there was a tree that had branches that hung down (my mom called it a "paint brush tree"). I used to go there all the time to think or read when I was younger. A few years ago, that tree got struck by lightning and they tore it down . So I don't really have a place anymore. I could perhaps call the near by duck pond, or the park where I go sometimes to feed the squirrels my "new" laughing place

It's a little resort in Lake Buena Vista. Funny thing is, it's in Florida, but there are several mountains

Mine isn't really a physical place, it's when I put on my music. If I am at work I put in my headphones to escape from the world.

The beach early in the morning before everyone gets there. I can hear the waves crash on the beach and listen to the seagulls. It's my therapy place where all my worries disappear for a while.

My Laughing Place has been and still is my bedroom. With a lock on the door, I was in my own little world. I would play music, write, think - whatever! I was always happy to just be in my room. I still get teased about it to this day - and what is really funny is my 14 yo cousin (who I get told again and again is my twin) does the exact same thing in her room.

I try and have a good time wherever I may be. I don't let the petty things get to me.
But I do enjoy the DIS everyday.
