"Everybody hates you Jack"

My ds (7) just came home from a neighbor child's house and said the boy shoved his bike (ds was on it and fell) and said "Get out of my sight- face it, Everybody hates you Jack." This isnt' the first time we have had a problem with this child.... a few weeks ago he and 2 other boys pushed ds down, one boy held ds's hands while the other 2 tried to take the golf balls out of ds's pockets. We live a few houses from each other and they are in the same grade- I am not looking forward to years of this kind of treatment towards my child.

I'm so sorry. I had this happen to me but I was a bit older and it really really stung. It is very lonely to feel like you have no friends.

As his mom I would look into if these allegations are true. Is your son truly unliked. If he really has no friends in the neighborhodd( and I am not saying this is his fault) then I would think about moving. The other thing is that I would talk to the parents of these kids and tell them they are to keep their hands off your son. That is harassment.

Oh no. What are these kids' parents like? Do they seem like reasonable people? Maybe that other child needs some behavioral therapy, maybe the school needs to know? Enough complaints come in and maybe that child will have more wary eyes on him.
