For a chicken, is EE more like the Big Thunder mountain rollercoaster , or more like rock-in roller coaster...?

It's more like a mixture of BTMRR (but faster in places) and Splash Mountain. There is a big drop that is pretty fast. It didn't find it like RRC at all. It is lots of fun. We rode it five times a couple of Sunday's ago. Don't chicken out. Ask to sit towards the front. Like BTMRR, it seems slower up there for parts of the ride. The effect of movement I found greater toward the back of the train.

I took my DS7 and DD5 on this ride (they're both insanely fearless), and after the first little descent I thought, oh, this is pretty tame, like Thunder Mountain Railroad. Hah! Next thing I know, we're racing backward in loops and I'm shrieking my head off. Totally fun, but I thought it was fairly intense. And there's a giant yeti who jumps out at you at the end, so some youngsters might get a little spooked.

IMO it is a very intense BTMRR, and not at all like RnR. I was nauseated from a migraine I had the night before and still rode EE and felt ok (although I could only stomach one ride). I would never have chanced RnR with a queasy stomach.

I sat in the middle back during my ride. Going up really high was great, going backwards in the dark alittle weird, and the really fast circular turns towards the end slightly dizzying. From my seat I hardly got to see any of the Yeti, except for a hairy leg (I think) outline. I was disappointed in that, having seen great photos of him on these boards. My husband sat in the middle once and in the front once and said that the front was much better for Yeti viewing-- he saw the whole thing. Make sure you look to both sides when you get to the top. You can see Epcot to the left.

I would definitely ride EE again w/o any worries. RnR is a ride I still get sweaty palms over. Call me a chicken!
