Everest Competition

Hi all! A couple of my team members just informed me that they heard that if you use river pieces in your Everest ride rooms, you will be disqualified? Has anyone heard that? No where in the "guidelines" did I find where it states that you HAVE to use Everest track throughout your entire ride?

Please help?! I really don't want all my team members to be disappointed since they've all put in so much time, effort, and credits (not to mention loss of sleep over this - lol!)

Wow I hope not too- many have put in some river track in their rooms - mine actually fits into my portion of the ride quite nicely thank you very much- I can replace it with ride track but I would need to find out pretty soon

I sent a message to the black hole about this over the weekend, and have had no response.

Is there an ask the host coming up? Maybe someone can go into the room and try to get a confirmation.

I just caught VMK_Red in the Haunted Attic this morning and asked her we were allowed to use river pieces in our Everest competition rooms, and she said ABSOLUTELY!

So I *think* we're safe!

I can now breath a little easier- I think some have messages in to other staff too- so we can get it confirmed from more than one staff source- which will be great- too

Umm...this is VMK we're talking about. I think we've pretty much seen that they can do whatever they want.

But seriously since they did take the time to put such specific rules in the contest, and there was no mention of not using river peices, I'm hoping it's ok.

I had a chance to ask VMK_Babs, and she also said yes we could use them together, that we could use anything in the game.
