Ever wonder what you do in your sleep??

Okay....so something kind of strange just happened. I reached up to scratch my ear....and my earring is gone. No big deal...except I NEVER take my earrings off. Well, except for maybe the rare occasion that I dress up and occasionally to clean them. They're beautiful diamond studs that my MIL gave me for Mother's Day one year....very meaningful to me. Anyway, the first place I look is my bed...and I find the back. Yah...I'm getting somewhere. But I don't find the earring. I searched and searched until I finally found it.....across the room....in a box!!

How the heck did that happen?? and more importantly, what else am I doing at night??


FYI....I don't believe in ghosts or ooggiebooogies and I'm not on any meds.

OP, that's pretty strange. When we were first married, DH used to head butt me in his sleep. It would wake us both up. I'm happy that stopped. Other than that, it's mainly talking in your sleep that I've dealt with. Just this morning, DD5 told DD2 to stop jumping on the bed. Both were asleep, no jumping involved.

My dh likes to start the lawn mower...

he had his arm over my side and I felt this jerking motion I was huh ..then he did it again and by this time I'm awake..look over at dh and he had this terrible look on his face as he slowly put his arm down..I was HUH? I asked him the next morning what were you doing ..he said he was trying to start a the lawn mower and it making him mad b/c it wouldn't start...

I do the usual talking in my sleep, but once in awhile I add a twist.

Just the other night, because DH asked me about it yesterday, I apparently checked DH's pulse on his wrist and then put my hand to his face to make sure he was still breathing. Then I laid back down and rolled over. I woke DH up when I touched him, he said he found it a bit disconcerning that I was checking to see if he was alive. I said, well better that I check then leave you dead laying there.
