Ever steal something .. by accident?

I love you guys, :disrocks: thanks for telling some great accidental theft stories.... I know my kids have also walked out with stuff, but I always noticed and took it back in, and I learned long ago to never put anything in my kids' stroller.... it's way to dangerous. For awhile with my youngest I had to pat her down before we left anywhere because she would just grab things on the low shelves as I pushed her.... I kept trying to figure out how she did it without me seeing her, but I got better at watching, and she learnt not to take stuff (FINALLY).... I really hope I never have to march my kids into a store because they took something on purpose (When they're two they don't understand, when their twelve it's juvinal delenquancy!).

btw, I hate going to Toys R Us now because I'm always afraid someone will say "hey that's the woman who too the cowboy hats"... now I wish I'd taken them back to pay even if I'd had to wait weeks... better for my already battered consience. (sp?)

And I am not a troll despite my unpleasant facial features, and bad breath!

Two summer's ago I trucked right out of Wal-Mart with two big ol' honkin' watermelons in the bottom of my cart.

Smiled and greeted the greeter as I passed. :wave2: Totally forgot they were down there until it was time to load my groceries in the car. Oops! Returned and paid for them. We still laugh about that.

We went to a Home Depot when they had the $299 or more same as cash. So my DH and I knew what we were getting as we were trying to stay right at around that amount. Get up to the cash register and the total comes to around $200. She said you do not have enought for the special deal. We said check again we totaled our stuff up more than once. Checker declared she rang everything up, she does not make mistakes like that. Okayyyyy.......
So we take everything home and sure enough we had made off with almost $100 extra that had not been rang up. Tried to tell Manager also but no, he did not want to hear it either. So we accidently stole with Home Depots blessing. :rotfl2:
