Ever seen the Electrical Water Parade EWP? Here are some pics!

Was going through some old pictures last night, and thought these might be nice to show someone who's never seen it. These were taken from our room at the Polynesian. You can see the castle in the distance in the first one, and the Contemporary in the distance in the second one.

Thank you! We always request the Tuvalu building. Love it because it's RIGHT ON the water. Like a few feet away. And no sidewalk or anything between the building and the water, so there usually aren't people walking between your room and the water.

what kind of camera do you have and how did you take them?

I have a 35mm camera with a zoom and none of mine turned out. I tried the auto, night and motion settings but they are alll blurry.

Hmmm....Dec '02. I think that would have been my Sony Mavica CD400. I have a different one now, but I think those were taken with the Mavica. I'm getting ready to sell it on ebay.

BluOrchid2, come on over and visit us in the Suite. We just celebrated our 4th anniversary on the Boards and are still going strong. One of the members called me on her way through Georgia this morning to wish me a happy birthday. Does not get any better than that.

We have a virtual Suite overlooking the lagoon and get nightly fixes of our favorite parade. With our unlimited credit cards and non caloric treats we saunter through life enjoying every magic moment.

liznboys, yep, that is what the EWP stands for. For the longest time I was the only member who had not seen the parade. One year I went to the Poly only to hear the music as it sailed away behind an island.

The EWP is just one of the many small touches of magic that make DW a destination to be visited over and over again. Too much to see, too little time.

Thanks for the terrific pics! The Electrical Water Pageant was one of my family's favorite "attractions" when we went to WDW (years ago!), and my DB and I are looking forward to seeing it again on our next trip. I think it's one of the most underrated things at the resort-- I had trouble finding any mention of it in the Official Guide!
