Just wondering if you were ever at WDW and got so caught up in the fun of trading that when you got home and realized what you'd done regretted trading away a certain pin? This one didn't have any value-it was a simple rack pin, so I know I could replace it next time I'm down there. But that's not the point. Why did I allow myself to get so carried away and trade it away in the first place? Please tell me someone else has got to have done it!

Yes! I think it was the spring of 2000 - only my second visit to WDW with pin trading. I traded away a LE pin for a CBR rack pin - a rack pin that afterwards I realized I already had :(. Live & learn, I guess ... Maybe that is why most of my trades have been off CM lanyards. I was hesitant before the August pin event last year, but I did trade with a handful of guests at the event - I think I surprised myself!

Yes..and it's a horrible story and it involves a Mickey for President that I used to have. Need I say more???

I got really into pin trading on my visit. I kept my traders on my fanny pack, only a limited number each day. Well, I had traded for a scrooge pin. Then later in the week, I traded my scrooge pin for something else I liked only to find out I missed it immediately. I liked it more than I thought I did. No problem, it had only been one ride since I traded it with a cm so I would just go back and trade it back. So I dragged my family back to that cm only to find the pin was gone......it had already been traded for. I was heartbroken and spent the rest of the trip looking for that pin. I never saw it again and I ended up buying it off of ebay when we got back. That was dumb trade.
