Ever recieved a reservation confirmation that was not yours?

Today a family member of mine recieved a room reservation confirmation that was not his.

To start at the begining, both I and another family member at the same address both have DVC memberships (we don't like sharing... it seems we get twice the number of trips since we each have our own membership). About a week ago, I made a reservation for a night at Disneyland hotel. Today I got the reservation confirmation letter they send out. However, my family member also recieved a similar confirmation.

It was address to him in the top right corner. It had a reservation number and then it said "On 10/16/2008, this reservation was modified for:" Then it had someone elses name and address and info on their stay at the Boardwalk Villas for 3 nights in a 2 bedroom. We saw that it took 104 points so we instally called Member Services to inqurie about this since we did not make that reservation.

Person we spoke with said he saw no reservations on that membership. We gave him the reservation number on the page and he confirmed that it was not our reservation and did not have an answer as to why we recieved someone else's confirmation with our address on it.

So has this happened to anyone else or is this just a really odd happening?

Membership Services is having a lot of computer problems. I understand that they are switching to a new Technology Partner as we speak.

This has also affected the processing of sales and their telephone systems.

Never had that happen, but I did receive someone elses cruise line reservation information - her name, my address.

That happened to me last year one time too.
