Ever just hate your job?

I worked as a waitress in a small college town for 11 years. It is a private college and the students could be quite snotty, and the parents were even worse. To many, I was "just a waitress!"

I went back to a public university in my late 30s, still worked waiting tables throughout my 4 1/2 years of school. I just hated every minute of it (work that is, I loved school)!! I graduated and got a 4th grade teaching position. I am starting my second year and just LOVE my job!! I guess the wait was worth it!

Some days are certianly better than others-- hang in there!

I work for a large publisher in town and it's the fact that it's such a respectable company that keeps me at my job (plus on some days I really like what I do). I can relate to feeling comfortable ; I found this job after being laid off and find that I'm just grateful to have a job to go to in the morning. The pay may be low (my pay scale is based on an out-of-state scale that does not take into account the higher cost of living in the Northeast) but at least it pays the bills.

We're heading into our crazy season here with the start of school, so I can't say I'm too thrilled with the job right now. I have to keep thinking about that WDW trip to get through the day

Not in Oklahoma! I had to work six hours (retail) to get a break - and it wasn't paid. I don't think we get paid breaks in Washington, either. I *think* Washington requires five hours before a break.

I hated my first two jobs. Love my new retail job.

I hate my job! I work at the DMV, and all the people do is whine all day.

I love what I do (though I do wish it paid more), but it's so draining! By the time it's my day off, I just want to stay in bed all day. I could really use a nice long vacation!

i like my job because i am my own boss and i get to stay home with my children--on the other hand i don't like my job because my house gets torn up and some of the parents can totally take advantage of me! I hate it when i have to crack the whip!!!
