Ever just decide not to send christmas cards?

mtemm - I think the year you move is a great way to notify people of your new address. Christmas card + change of address!

I'm sure you'll be glad you did them!

that was my original intent, to get them out as soon as we moved (we moved the week of thanksgiving). when I wasn't even close and we had so much to do with the house, I finally just gave myself permission not to. Besides, in the end, e-mail did the change of address for us.

I am glad that I am doing them, though. But I think I would have been fine if we had skipped them. :)

I haven't stopped completely, but I have narrowed my list down a lot. I used to send about 75-100 cards a year--now I'm down under 25, which is doable.

My first attempt turned out bad, they printed horrible. And then I went to do another one and didn't work out. Then tried the JOY idea again and the baby wouldn't cooperate so I gave up. No Christmas Cards this year!!!

I have decided to not send out Christmas cards this year, save for a handful to very close friends/family (actually 3). I just am not feeling very cheerful this Christmas, and do not have the energy or the time to sit down and get it done. I am also trying to get everything organized for a beginning of the year move (although I do not have to do much of the packing-or-unpacking), there is still a ton to do. Those that I care about now how busy I am and won't think twice about the lack of cards.

I was all set to send Christmas cards this year. Purchased them and everything. Went to write them out, discovered they had WAY too much glitter on them and threw them all away. So, I decided that this year is just not my year to send out cards. I've been feeling a little blah off and on lately (probably something to do with quitting smoking), so I don't feel compelled to go out of my way to write cards to people who don't even reciprocate. Plus, with planning a wedding, helping my family with Christmas, going to school, working full time, AND packing to move in 45 days I haven't had the energy to do it.

I did decide that next year (since it will be our first Christmas as a married couple) we're going to write a letter to everyone. Not a brag letter, just a where we are in life letter. That's the plan anyway.

I am not sending any this year. Just don't feel like it - not sure if it is being busy at work or what.
