I have 2 timeshares, 1 dvc and 1 royal holiday club. We bought the RHC in 1990 and DVC in 2002.

I was contacted by 'Your Exchange Company' (YEC) to resell my Royal Holiday one. I have been thinking about that for awhile because I really can't use DVC and RHC each year. YEC is a member of BBB and the person I spoke with said they sell 75 percent of what they advertise within 30 days.

Anyone hear of this company? Should I be wary?

Thanks for your help.

Not heard of them but you might try TUG. One thing I can say for certain is that if they want money from you upfront, you should run (not walk) away from the deal. Many of these companies will want $299-$699 and in many cases tell you they have a buyer and even provide a name. Once you give them money, that's the last you'll hear from them, at least in a positive way. Keep your money in your pocket, a legit company will not ask for money up front other than a small fee ($10-20) per year for online sites. Any company that claims to sell 75% of advertised timeshares within 30 days is flat out lying. Even the best companies only sell a fraction of the units listed, ever, much less in 30 days.
