Ever hear back from Research panel?

I sent 2 emails to do the Cruise Market Research. Has anyone heard back from them?

I was also contacted twice and responded to both. Haven't heard a thing back from them. I guess they aren't planning on using me since the date that they were going to be in Atlanta is only a week and a half away.

I can't believe they contacted so many of us and nothing -- unless they figure they can spring it on us with a week or less notice... I really would like to do it. Oh well.... If I don't hear from them, I will send them input anyway.

I got a call regarding the NYC studies. First, they said they were looking to bring me in at 1:00 PM and pay $75. When I asked if they had later sessions, the person started asking me questions about the frequency of times I have been on DCL. After answering the questions, he said that he had no more available spots and wouldn't need me.

The lesson learned: Be REALLY agreeable to whatever time they mention, or they will find a way to eliminate you.

They called me on Friday. I am going at 5:15 on Monday April 26. First they said I come in at 2:00 or 5:00. I said 5:00 is better so they said I could be a floater from 5:00 to 7:15. They said I would fill in if someone doesn't show up and instead of $75.00 they will pay me $100.00.

I HAVE BEEN A FLOATER A FEW TIMES FOR A "LOCAL SURVEY" IN THE NJ AREA. I LOVE IT. BOTH TIMES, (SOMEONE DIDN'T SHOW UP)SO,I WENT IN THE FIRST HOUR & STILL GOT PAID THE EXTRA AMOUNT. THEY ALSO GAVE ME SODA & SANDWICHES.

DOES ANYONE HAVE THE "EMAIL ADDRESS" FOR THE CRUISE REASEARCH?

FYI IN YOUR ANSWERS, WILL DETERMINE IF YOU QUALITY FOR THE SURVEY OR NOT. OVER THE YEARS I HAVE BEEN CALLED & NOT USED, & THEY CALLED ME BACK THE FOLLOWING WEEK & I HAVE QUALIFIED FOR A PANEL.

JUST LAST WEEK. I WAS CALLED & QUESTIONED ABOUT ICE-CREAM, WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN PAID 50.00 I DIDN'T QUALIFY, & THEN WAS CALLED BACK ABOUT HAIR, MADE THAT PANEL & WAS PAID DOUBLE $100.00 "OPERATION DISNEY CRUISE"

Well, I got the call for next Wed. in Atlanta, but they want someone who hasn't booked a reservation yet -- we already did! I would have been paid $60. He said they might call me back if someone cancels.

I'm really disappointed. I sent the company email and told them I'd like to give them my ideas anyway, if they're interested. If I don't hear from them, I will contact DCL directly.

I understand that they need to follow certain criteria, but it's a shame when they don't use people who are obvious customers already!

I never heard a thing from them...and they sent me two emails wanting to know if I would be interested in being on the panel. When did they call you? I'm hoping that they still will call, even though it might be hard to get off of work on such short notice.

They called yesterday and blew me off (kinda). I sent them email and told them I really wanted to help out. They put me on a waiting list. They called again this AM and told me 9:15 (arg! with traffic) and I asked for later. Asked a few more questions and now it's at 2.

Who knows! I also sent email to Disney about one of my ideas and already heard from them!

I actually did it once last year, and I am going to the DCL one here in NYC on Monday night.

Last year I had to view their commercials, naviagte through the DCL website, and answer all sorts of questions giving my opinions to all sorts of DCL things.

I will let you know next week what this one is about.

They are paying me $100 this time.

if i were asked to do anything for dcl panal i would do it for free. i dont expect pay for helping out. its just a way of showing i can help without pay. thanks
